Here is the link that says helmets might be unsafe if dropped from waist height.

I don't intend to stir a hornet's nest here, by this link. I just hope that we appreciate the motorcycle helmet being designed for a single impact, like all other single impact safety equipment. Do not drop your helmet.Last edited by jayprashanth; 02-07-2009, 06:05 PM.

@biker boy: I don't know if the GP 1 is still available. But from the ones I have seen, the lid is good on a whole except for the visor and its mechanism.10 Commandments:

I have to clean my vega helmet. Its very dirty now. Is the clean procedure in the link any good? has anyone tried it?07 HH Zma
