Definitely not axxis bro.i own one.its great comfort wise.looks cool too.nice paddings and ventilation.everything is cool except that annoying noise which Creeps in once u reach highway speeds.

Now confused between revenge and blade series. Revenge has 5 star sharp rating but doesn't come in black I guess (at least not in SPG website)

I've been using a HJC FG-17 for a few months now, and I'm super happy... This is the review I saw that made me consider it, and I haven't regretted the decision at all http://youtu.be/sKD6LOvrmW0

It's quiet, comfy, and has great ventilation... Plus a SNELL rating is awesome...

If you want something else, do check out the Airoh Pit-One and Airoh Force XR. Both are very aerodynamic, and made it Italy. And I doubt you'll get helmets lighter than those. They are available through Bachoo Motors in Mumbai who are the official dealers. Check out the Bachoo motors website for dealers in ur city too.


Alternately, check out the Icon Airmada available at sbkstore.in that's a great helmet.

As for wind noise the HJC is really quiet till 100kmph, after that wind noise creeps in a bit, but that's more to do with my head shape I feel...
As for the Airoh, I didn't manage to take it on a high speed run, so can't comment with too much accuracy. But it's awesome under 80kmph...

As for lightness, the HJC is pretty light on the head, you won't notice it. But the Airoh is lighter.

Bikegear.in imports and dispatches the helmet directly from Airoh in Italy. They have lots of other products and claim to do the same for them.

If anyone has used/knows of this particular helmet and this website, would appreciate a reply.

AFAIK.. Bachoo Motors is official impoter/distributor of Airoh in India.
If you are buying from the said website, check for valid warranty and authenticity.

Regarding the helmet, other members can comment better. I don't own one.

There is no return policy for Indian buyers, except for defects.

Got myself a MT Blade today. It has single visor and a double d ring fastener. Cost: 4.9k
Happy with the purchase, went to buy revenge but they only had one piece in awkward design plus it had ratchet fastening mechanism.

Rode 70kms with it. Need time to break in, its still pretty tight now.
Built quality is better than LS2 but by a small margin.
Wind noise is there but up to 70-80kph, it's bearable.

MT Axxis @4150 is very nice.

I wouldnt suggest modular coz sub 10k modulars are bad incase you have an accident.
