      • Warning stickers on Helmet | DO NOT REMOVE HELMET! High Risk of Paralysis

I have seen many people using stickers on their Helmet messaging "DO NOT REMOVE HELMET! High Risk of Paralysis".
How true it is? Should I go for such stickers?

Also, getting a spare visor would be prudent. Spartan wouldn't have stock for any SOL products. Zeus is the new supplier AFAIK.
Are you Sure Divya bro? I have been using the red metal man since the last ~4k Kms and have no wind noise issue at all.

Yup. I too have the same. SOL Metal Man 2.
Its a snug fit for my head with a balaclava on. Using it for about 35000 kms now. It is noisy post 90. I hardly do tripe digits but sometimes doing 100+ becomes a pain just because of the wind noise.

It's been with me for nearly 7 months now. Tried and tested in multi-day long rides each covering in excess of 600 kms per day. Wind noise is there at three digit speeds, so I've started using soft ear plugs from 3m. The Spartan ones I tried out were a disaster.

I agree with you on this one. It's the specs and the shape creating this pain, I guess. I faced this issue only once though.

However when I booked KTM RC 200, my urge for new lid started. Started looking for budget helmets, I was OK with LS2, but due to news about duplicates LS2 was taken out from my list. The next one without many contenders was MT, as every KTM threads and even this Helmets thread was filled with information about MT Helmets.

                Hey buddy,
Good to see a detailed review, thanks for that.
I currently own a HJC FG17, and am facing a major wind noise issue just like you, which is a shame for a helmet that costs ₹15,000. I did however find this article online which seems to explain a lot. Do try the solutions recommended, and most importantly, try what is recommended by "L.S" in the comments section, I tried it and it seems to be working beautifully. Lemme know how goes!

Thanks a ton for finding answers for this noise issue. As per "L.S" comment I could increase the padding, but my helmet is already a tight fit (e.g. When I wear my helmet my ears get folded and I need to put my hand inside to get them flat). So if I increase the padding then I may hurt my ears badly. After going through this article, I think I need to check my helmet with a naked bike. BTW I will surely add some additional padding and report back. Thanks again for kind help Aadilnaik, cheers!

Interestingly the ls2 i have doesnt have any wind noise

But the strap fastener is crap .. HAs started to rust...
Accidentally put a drop of oil in both visior holding bracket .. Now the visior (if open) automatically shuts as soon as i cross 100kmh 😂😂..
Also on other note my clear visor often gets scratched and at night the light from opposite direction on visor starts to spread even after repeatedly taking care of it and cleaning it with min cream .. Any solution to this ??

Absolutely no solution for a scratched visor it has to be replaced... As you've no doubt noticed, it gets pretty bad for visibility... My last helmet I had to eventually replace the full helmet sooner than I wanted cause I wasn't getting a replacement visor! So try to keep a helmet which has visors easily available.
As for maintaining visor life, I wash it with water after every trip. The trick is to not use any washing liquids, just use plain water, and then wipe it dry with tissue paper... I've found tissue paper works brilliantly... I hope this helps

                          Ok sir ,
I have spare visior but this is just annoying
And no sir i dont use washing liquids ..
Min cream i use temporarily fills up minute scratches and fixes the problem but 2-3 rides and its back

Hey guys. Want to share my recent experience of buying LS2 Helmet through snapdeal. Since I stay in Gurgaon and wasn't sure of which dealer to contact for a ls2, I went ahead and bought it from snapdeal.

I even got the delivery in 4 days time. I was skeptical before buying this helmet as there has been a lot of issues pertaining authenticity of the brand. To my surprise the helmet that I received was authentic but broken!!

Yes it was broken... from inside. Posting few images for a better understanding.[ATTACH]172278Click image for larger version

Sad to know. But for this very reason, one is advised to open the item and check the condition before signing the courier's delivery sheet.
