BTW if you havent used it, you can insist on replacement to the visor of your choice for free, else you can buy another visor say clear one and use it for day and more of night riding. Use the tinted one for day only rides.Comment

, actually i went to a shop for big size vega boolean, later i went to balaji, i somehow came to know that guy came to balaji only and was quoting 100 bucks extra to me. So i prefered buying from him. also there were 2 version one had 2 buttons to open flip outside that was for 2500/- but i did not prefer that as it might open easily in a crash.
The only thing is that i see vent and air holes in padding for top vents, but i do not see for chin, i mean its sealed from inside ?!?, also i feel closed helmet has less viewable area, rather than when flipped up.
Thnx suggest some shop then for visor if not balaji again

If you found it difficult to procure the helmet, i doubt if anyone else will have visor for your helmet.
You also mentioned that he is the only one who is selling it here, now thats the major problem, he can sell it at whatever price he wants
I would suggest your to forget all this and enjoy the helmet.
Check if the tinted is managable during night ride, else get a clear visor from him, if possible from other shops (hemlet paradise, megha enterprises etc), if you havent used the helmet at all just ask him to replace the tinted with clear visor.
PS : Velocity told me that silver tinted are more managable among the tinted ones, so its the next best to clear visor.Comment

broke the visor and now a new one is quoted for 1.3k. so am still riding without one.
i suggest getting it replaced with the plain one. the tinted ones aint good for riding in the night esp bangalore with all those sudden potholes, straydogs, etc...BIKER ...the thrill and sense of self-fulfilment is obtained from living a little dangerously!Comment

Yeah he will rip you off like anything. I bargained like hell for my AGV plain visor but no dealer was willing to go below Rs 450. Balaji people initially said it costs Rs 600. From there he came down to Rs 450 but I didn't buy it. Even Pranay(if Im right) went to the shop again and he got the money back that was charged in excess. I think the shop over there quotes quite higher price.
