Have you thought about the MT axxis geo 4 in matt red and black

this might sound crazy and stupid, i give equal preference to looks, so want to go with simple black or (black with gold ) have yamaha FZ FI panther black

btw, which one would you prefer geo3 or 4? looks like my size is hard to find (Small), out of luck!

Try the helmet first. My personal experience is that MT sizes are smaller than SOL. SOL Hornet Large fits me snugly, but MT Axis Large is so tight that I can barely get my head into it.

MT comes in S , M, and L sizes. But I think medium would be a perfect fit for most even MT helmets look big but as big as SOL helmets. They r huge sometimes I feel. I would personally go for the geo4 as I do own 1 now.

I already dropped a mail to the spartanprogear and also called the hyderabad dealer. he said even though online it says size 'Small' is available, they only sell M and Large! strange!!

what about people with small heads like me, i dont want to get a big size helmet as its not snug and also i would look like a cartoon!!

Shell sizes don't always change with helmet size. Sometimes just the inner padding is changed. I think that MT has different shell sizes for different sizes though. Anyway you will not look like a cartoon, the visible difference is not that great. Whatever you buy, don't buy without trying it out first.
As for Hyderabad, I really don't know any store other than Dynamic Ryderz who are no longer authorised dealers.

Earlier I had a shitty helmet the one which u get as a gift from the showroom hardly worth the price. Waited awfully for MOTO 101 to import it (around 6 odd months). Bought it the next day it was for sale. Now I feel the difference, it's a great fit, airflow is way better. It is noisey at 80's n above but not loud totally bearable. I personally njoy the surrounding during my rides so might be diverting my mind from the noise
All in all a worthy buy:thumbup:

Hi guys,I bought MT axxis geo 3 helmet from Spartanprogear online.Received yesterday through firstflight courier after a week but there is a problem.It seems to be a defective one.anyway I noticed a small crack on the back of the helmet.i feel a roughness when i moved my fingers through this part.I have attached the images.please tell me if this could be a safety issue.

it might be a dent caused due to minor fall while shipping or mishandling by courier comp. how was the package delivered to you? what was the condition of it when received, (typically, the shape of the box, i mean is it intact ?)

also, what size did you order, this is on my list i m planning to buy it online as Size Small is not available in stores!

I called to the Hyderabad dealer and checked that there are no SMALL sizes available in stores! however, it says available for few models online (spartanprogear) is it safe to place order online?

he said only M and L

I don't want to again go for the one that doesn't have snug fit!

one last question, what the other good stores i can check in HYDERABAD to go check MT and SOL helmets!! please advice and help.

MT Axiss Geo 3
MT Revenge (Black)
SOL SF1 (Black solid, rear LED)

i would take anyone of this if size that fits me (SMALL) is available. please advice!

Bro,there is nothing like a dent or a cut in the cartoon box.box is fine.the helmet is also covered d by double bubbled plastic layers inside the box.and the cloth bag covering the helmet indicates no tear(a scratch like this can't happen with all the cloth bag n box intact).i called them up about the issue,said they will talk with their boss but so far,no replies. they have not responded to my mails also.

Anyway I would like to know from u and helmet experts if that deep scratch or dent or crack could be just in the paint layer or the shell(as shown in the marked PIC,white colour of the insides can be seen))???.could it be a safety issue? Please let me know soon.

Mine is small size.Small sizes are available in spartan.Its ur choice if u wanna order online from Spartan but as per my experience, wouldn't deal with Spartan again in future.I had planned to order other gears after the helmet but now dropped it.

I totally understand your situation, from the pic it looked like just paint (issue) or some hard scracth( we see this mostly on black scooters with fiber body, white fiber or shell gets exposed when it get smeared or scratched ) unless you see the crack to be deep and feels weak when pressure applied, its not a big problem. any damage to the inner shell, that's the case to worry!

so, you dont recommend buying online then!

Hmm.Im still waiting for their response.Chances are,they must have sent a scratched helmet(may have caused by mishandling or accident in their store) knowingly, thinking we would just accept it or there was no quality check before sending it.highly Unprofessional of them.i had high hopes from spartan since they are the importer and distributor but now Deeply disappointed with spartanprogear.

No problem about online purchases if the stores are professional ( not just to make money) and a quality service.Try Moto101 Mumbai.They do online orders.They seem to be customer friendly and professional in their service.

Yes it is noisy at speeds above 70-80 Kmph, I thought it will hold good till 100 kmph, anyways, will go on a long ride next time to observe it..
