The helmet hunt finally comes to an end..
I picked one from A.H. Helmets, Andheri..
Very very nice shop..great collection..highly recommended to xBhp members because the owner gives discount to xBhp members..

I bought a Cross helmet initially but within 10 minutes of riding, it started pricking my head and the pain was unbearable.. Immediately I called the owner and he told me he'll replace it..
Maybe the helmet was too big for me because the built quality was very good but somehow it was pricking my head..
Finally I choose the above one because of the its awesome fitting. I found GPR's fitting much better than Cross's.

Ahh...so that A.H. helmet guy does really give discount to xBhp owners..2600 is what he charged me ( maybe because I bargain too much :P)
The Cross helmet I was referring to before, was exactly the same you've got..
Anyway...good deal..

Actually I bought it from funkys pune and here are some pics!!

Be careful while buying stuff's from Funkys ,Pune ... He is known to sell some fake stuff... I got STM lid from him and its vents broke within 3 months of usage , it was not having removable padding too !
Moreover he sells its Visor for 700 bucks ! pure ripoff !!

exceeds ECE-22.05
Excellent venting..all the vents actually continue in the eps.
the airflow is excellent..for once,my head doesnt smell of sweat even after long tours!
all the usual...double-d ring,removable pads,etc.
the most noticeable fact is the chin vent.
there is an open-close switch inside.
when open,it REALLY does clear the fog..
(with the heavens opening up in the last few days,it has been of great help!)

OMG!! The rear opening of those vents reminds me of some Truck's Radiator Grille

How much did you pay for this

got it for 3200/-
the same model is available online for 149$.so i think i got a good deal!
i think it was an old model and the shopkeeper was making some room for new stock!
my first choice was agv stealth.although it costs around $160 only,the lowest i could get it here, was for 18000...

so decided to go for this.

some where on this thread some one had post a flip up helmet
"hybrid" from Aaron an indian company. I have seen their print ads in Bike magazine.
Their site is this AARON Helmets in India | Bike helmets supplier,manufacturer,exporter India | Best quality helmets wide range colors & design |
it is better looking than the websites of most other indian helmet companies.
they claim Hybrid to adher to ECE and Dot specifications.
(even Studds on their site say their helmets edher to DOT and ECE)

anyone has personal experience with their helmets.

It has got 7 vents....
I have used it for 100kms (without the shade) on the trot and felt quite good.
With the shade on, the helmet sways even at 60-65kmph on highways...!
