Give the helmet model and may be a few snaps in his mobile he can check for it at many shops in Abids area. The Vega dealer is in Somajiguda - beside old Venkatesha Motors (Yamaha) showroom. The visot will sure be available.

      • These KBC and Sparx helmets are the above prices with or w/o postage and handling charges?

Even my KBC seems to cost only 50$ online, but had to buy it for 7K

                • got my HJC FS-10 helmet order it through a friend comming from usa paid only $142 ~ Rs6500 it has those drop down visour and removable liner
the D - ring is a shocker to those of us use to a clip on concept it looks rather insecure and if i try to push the helmet from the back for the roll off test with the strap on the damn thing jabs into my wind pipe. the sizing is correct as it fits nice and tight.
what about other people with d-ring based helmet ?

                  attached are the pics
it came with a soft bag, a breath deflector (considering it has anti-fog screen worder why) and a chin deflector to fit in below the helt in the front.

this is the dring and notice the opening is so small that one wonders if a head can fit into it

This helmet is very comfortable presses againt your cheeks but doesnot put pressure tight fit all round..i would call it just right. cut out a lot of noise.
the air intake is a bit noise and causes an irritating whistle sometimes i keep it closed.

                  • Congrats on being the owner of a great helmet. I trust it'll serve you well for a long time

I too was pretty surprised that my KBC came with a D ring mechanism and no buckle
Kinda takes time getting used to and also do it fast enough. The KBC also came with a Pinlock (Pinlock | Anti Fog | Anti condens | Anti brouillard | Anti-Scheibe) system. Never know something like that existed Was surprised to find holes in the visor

Congratulations on getting a HJC - a 'real' lid. Though the D-Ring is not commonly found on Indian helmets, it is used on most of top notch helmet brands. It takes some getting used to - I have an Arai, which also has, you guessed it, a D-ring strap fastener. Straps with D-rings are most secure and probably the safest locking mechanism.

And the narrow opening at the bottom is what makes the fit of these helmets fantastic. No offense to Indian made helmets, but I can never go back to anything else after wearing an Arai for the past many years.

ps: Junk your soft helmet bag and get a proper helmet bag with padding - this will help cushion your helmet against accidental scrapes and bumps, which might lead to chipping of the surface.

                            Nice helmet there.

Daijya has D-ring too. Initally i found it cubersome to use. but once i got used to it, i found it to be the comfiest. Not to mention that it one of the most safest strap around and what's surprising is the mechanise is way to simple!
