I got a cross for myself for 3.7k! The shop owner quoted 4.5k but got it down to 3.7!Originally posted by n_aditya View PostLS2 starts from 3.5k if i am right. Cross is available from 3k onwards. These are the prices mentioned by various shops in blore. You could get them a tad cheaper depending on which city you are buying from.
Still couldn't find anything less than 3.5k under Cross name there.
Go for Vega Boolean. Its double visor and would cost you at the most 1.7k (This is bangalore price) and the rest would depend on your bargaining skillsOriginally posted by Samuel View PostYup had a quick visit at pro bikers on saturday will be going there again within the next few days to check out the helmets

Else try Ninja Studds. That you can get easily in the range of 1.1-1.3k.
Try purchasing helmet from exclusive helmet shops coz then you would get better choices and more competitive prices. My thoughts...

I saw a few Cross helmets at balaji. The one i liked was black with white graphics and he was quoting 3.3k. He prolly would have parted with it for around 3k. This was a full face with clear visor.Originally posted by harshit.d View PostI got a cross for myself for 3.7k! The shop owner quoted 4.5k but got it down to 3.7! Prices also depend on the design etc. Maybe the one you got has better graphics. Still, 3.7k for something which is quoted 4.5k is a super deal.
P.S. nice bargaining skills. i ought to take you shopping with me next time.

Not only that. My friend's Vega boolean was also damaged.Originally posted by n_aditya View PostI saw a few Cross helmets at balaji. The one i liked was black with white graphics and he was quoting 3.3k. He prolly would have parted with it for around 3k. This was a full face with clear visor.

Right side external piece was not there so visor was dangling and inner padding on one side was not there. All that was repaired too without even asking for that and that too all for free!!!My thoughts...

If not looking for flip ups then you've got a lot of options. Just go to any helmet shop and within 2-2.5K you can get a decent one like Renny also said above.Originally posted by Samuel View PostThanx Harshit but basically not looking for flipups..... Didnt like the boolean much though

Anyone using Vega LS2. I really like that Helmet and thinking to buy one soon. Now the only thing is that one of Delhi xBhpians have it and when I tried it, I could feel some spacing inside. Like when you shake your head left - right, the helmet would shake a bit which meant that its not face hugging helmet, i.e. it has gaps in interior padding which would make the helmet move a bit even when the face is staionary.
Can anyone using it thro some light on it

Try getting a smaller size if this is happening. If you get the same sized one it might shake at high speeds.Originally posted by Shivanshu View PostAnyone using Vega LS2. Get the right size. Check the sizing here (may not be the same for all but gives an idea): New Page 1Originally posted by Shivanshu View PostAnyone using Vega LS2.
