Can you guide me where i can get it done from? I mean ofcourse you wont have any idea about hyderabad. But does the guys who do paintjob of bikes and cars by matching the color on computer....Are they capable enough for the job?

Being an NRH (Non-Resident Hyderabadi) i dont know too much about hyderabad . But you can get the job done at helmet shops.

the shop guy asked 1700rs afterwards he settled on 1500rs....due to snug fit sweating is a problem in kolkata as weather is humid whats the way out anybody please suggest....

Just keep the ventilators open. Thats the only way.

Helmets should always be with snug fit. Thats the only way to get the best protection out of it.

according to the LS2 website they have both DOT and ECE ceritfied helmets.the former for the US market and the later for the european market.however i have a problem with the LS2 available here in India- according to regulations the safety sticker on the helmet should never be a sticker it should be embrossed /printed on it so that it cant be tampered with.here i have seen some early LS2 which had DOT printed on it, however these days all LS2 comes with ECE sticker, even the CROSS comes with the same ECE sticker.i know i cant vouch for the genuineness of LS2 being sold here but the price was tempting and it felt well made when you compare it to Indian brands besides i returned to the city 2 days before the helmet rule for the pillion was to be implemented in my city,so i didnt had time ,picked up one thats fits the best.now saving up for a genuine helmet from a reputed manufacturer. Iam looking at Sparx, Rjays ,scorpion and HJC.

a few things i have observed with the new LS2, the newer ones are lighter than the older ones ,the newer ones weigh 1300gms compared to 1500 gms in the older version.there is slight difference in the cheek pad design between the two models, the newer model tapers more on the posterior side.the chin area/bar is significantly smaller on the newer version.the breath deflector on the newer LS2 is larger.rest of the things are more or less the same. pls note that this comparision was done between two FF350 models,.

Exactly! Earlier models used to come with DOT printed on them.And those earlier ones are only five of the hundreds of LS2s that are sold in India.You can check the images on the official Vega website.All of the five models are DOT certified.

I had used Bieffe lid before the LS2.I don't know why but there's an air of solidity about it compared to the LS2 shell..LS2 feels very fragile! It might be because of the weight though..

My only concern is the authenticity of these LS2 helmets.I am really very scared if someday a crash-test will tell me whether it's original or fake!

It is a minimum certification. If you want protection from your lid then yes it is necessary.

Normally the police doesnt check for all these things. They just see that you wear a helmet.

these helmets have flooded the market in kolkata for quite sometime. The prices have fallen quite a lot. Prices are now around 1100/-.

don know that bro i searched 4 shops all of dem quoted arround 1700 so i thought 1500 will be a good bid ......but by judging the quality wid my previous helmet studds rhyno which came for 1295rs i thought 1500 is ok as the allover quality is far better than studds....so i went for it at 1.5k....ill be getting gloves from that shop should i ask for explanation for the 400 more, that guy took??....or may be i can ask for a clear visor or skull cap..

Price at wellington has no head or tail. did you buy it from M.P.Enterprises? No body out there have no idea about any riding gear, They just get there stuff from bangkok in a lot and display it. I have a MRC too, which i bought a year back. Getting a KBC next week, albeit Thai manufatcured.

ya bro i know dat about wellington the shop name is auto style near to m p.....they also had yohe "DOT" printed......but they are way too big than normal helmets....nd doesnt go well with fz....so u are from kolkata nice....i jus stay beside wellington near calcutta boys school....but was unable to find a deal below 1.5k...

Oh ok. You could have dropped into Calcutta Stickers just opposite Auto Style. He sells the same MRC for 1150/-.

After searching a bit on the internet i found the vega boolean as a good option as it acts as both full face and a half face helmet but its design is not that good. How much would it cost as my budget is 3K i am thinking to buy a boolean get some nice graphics on it. What say?

Vega Boolean / Eclipse cost Rs.1700 . Build quality is good.

I am using Vega Eclipse .. the only thing i am not happy about is the padding. It could've been much better.

Bro as ur budget is 3k i think itll be better if u go for a ls2 or cross lid graphics will be better than you can imagine and build quality padding etc are best in class

Can you give me links for the various kinds of models that LS2 and CROSS stock? Most of them seem to be similar so i thought of going for a cheaper helmet good at safety and getting the graphics done from outside.
