Suggest a Good Helmet
Hello ppl,
I am thinking of buying a new helmet which will replace my almost 3 year old Vega Boolean modular helmet. My requirements are
1. Must be light in weight and made of quality outer and inner shells.
2. Must have a scratch resistant visor either tinted or plain. Inner visor is not a must.
3. Must have good ventilation.
4. Either modular or full face non-modular helmets. Modular helmets are heavy. My Vega Boolean modular helmet is 1.450 Kg. Am willing to consider if its any lighter than this weight.
5. Budget is 2K - 3K can stretch upto a max of 3.5K.
Please suggest me some helmets from across brands like LS2, Cross, etc.
Also, am based in Chennai and pointers to stores from where i can buy will be helpful.
Thanks,
emzee

Buying LS2, see if you could get slightly old stock where it says DOT at the back. Don't let the shop keeper know this.

I checked in the 100 Lights Pioneer Helmets shop and they dont have the imported brands available with them. Only Indian brands like Vega, Studds, Steelbird, etc are available with them. Yet to check in the shops on GP Road.
And btw, Which brand would you ppl recommend? LS2 or Cross? which one is robust and more comfortable?
Thanks,

Any Daijya Owner??
Hello everyone!!
Is anyone here using Daijya G-fit helmet?
How is the ventilation of this helmet, and noise level at high speeds(>100km/h)?
What is the approx weight of the helmet?
And is there any other/better alternative to this helmet?
(My budget is 5k)

LS2 or CROSS is something you'll need to experience which is comfortable. Also, LS2 is widely popular these days. I'm still using AGV from the last stock bought sometime last year. Looking for the visor, else it serves.Originally posted by emzee View PostHey Sriram!!

1. Ventilation is good, but there is slight noise level once you cross 90km/h. the air actually enters from the side (where the fulcrum for the visor is located).
2. standard as compared to any other good helmet such as LS2 etc.
3. you could try HJC for 6K. otherwise this is the best you can get in india, for the price.Always assume the other guy will mess up - Ride Defensively!
