If thermal liner is not a feature under consideration you can check the Aspida Atlas (I think that's the most inexpensive Jacket from known reputed brands)

Re: Universal : Riding Gear Thread
I would highly recommend you to increase your budget to 5-6K as at 4K you will not get a jacket with authentic CE approved protectors at limbs also.Originally posted by INDYAN View Post

From bbg i would recommend bbg xplorer ₹6100.

Re: Suggest my first riding jacket. Budget around 7K
BBG jackets are good. I'm using the xPlorer. Decent amount of ventilation and the fitting is good. But the rain liner that comes with it is not up to the mark. After around 1.5 years of use, the water started sipping through the stitches though very little. Don't know about the Rynox tornado pro.Originally posted by Abubakr View PostI want to buy a riding jacket with a bughet of 7K for my Gixxer SF. Someone suggested scimitar jacket which cost around Rs.5500 but I'm more inclined towards BBG ladakh jacket or Rynox tornado pro. Thanks in advance.

A long term 'short' review on tcx xs sport WP boots
I got this boots around 1.5 years back.At that time my only trips were just short rides to town.within a few days of use,the soft material on the upper lips of ankle area were coming apart.it didn't bother me much and didn't go through the hassle of returning as the layer of softtouch material was peeling off, more of a visual damage than a structural one.the boots were surprisingly waterproof initally, even in heavy rains.now after around 1.5 years of light use with a just a few long trips, the boots have turned out to be a disappointment.the sole has split already,(got it stitched)

the metal eyes for laces are provided only for the top two holes, the rest of the holes have widened (probably due to lack of metal eyes)and one of them has even torn noticeably.the soft layer of material has peeled of randomly making it look like a patched up old boots, and it is no more waterproof.it might be the odd case of a faulty piece,or genuine quality issues.have read raving reviews of tcx boots online although most of them were for their higher end boots.since i didn't find any post reviewing the same, thought a review would be helpful to people looking to buy boots from tcx in the future.the protection it provides is great(ankles-medial and lateral, reinforced heels, toe, stiff soles etc) though the durability is dissapointing.

Re: Universal : Riding Gear Thread
Aniruddha contact your dealer for alterations. If not, find and contact some solace dealer, they offer alterations and repairs on most gear brands. Do ask them.Originally posted by Aniruddha Shinde View PostHey Guys,

Re: Universal : Riding Gear Thread
You can either go for solace bravo or cramster trg2 as many people are using cramsters in the forum and they are quite happy with it.Originally posted by hemanta View PostHello fellow bikers. I have a budget of 3.5k for gloves. Thinking of full gauntlet ones. Please give suggestions. Also will they keep my hands warm enough in delhi winters? How do you people manage?
Personally i use solace bravo for touring and it has ample amount of protection and warmth in it.
But it has perforated leather too near fingers and upper wrists, where perforation is neither too small nor too big. (See the pics below).
You can't go wrong with either of them.
