I have a set of basic knee guards but now i wish to purchase a set of knee sliders.
can you please suggest some make and also the approximate costing of the same.

It would also be helpful if you could direct me to a store in pune where i could purchase them.

A question bro. When you have knee guards, then why are you going for knee sliders? Ain't it that knee sliders are just going to cover the joint only and the knee/shin guards cover much more... (Please throw some light if I'm wrong. I don't know much about the sliders).

Just bought a Fieldsheer High Flow II Mesh Jacket from Motorcycle-Superstore. It was quoting $54.99 (+ $6.99 for local shipping). Was initially considering the SS Twist of Fate available for $59.99, but was not available in my size.

Have purchased it through iccworld they are charging me a grand total of Rs. 4893/- (I suspect they might charge a bit of Octroi on delivery). Thats good considering that ebay was charging $100 extra just to ship it to India (excl. taxes and duties).

Heres an image of the jacket. I have chosen the black colour. Plan to write a mini review once I get it. Lets see...

Ordered it through PRS Mumbai. The buying experience was good & mostly over phone & email only. Unfortunately, I bought a little bigger size & hence the left side shoulder slips a little though all other armors stay intact.

ICCWorld promises delivery within 3-5 business days once they receive it at their US warehouse. Due the closeout rush, they received it only yesterday (i had ordered on 31st Friday). Hoping to get it by the weekend.

Knee guards will wear away very fast and easily if touched to the ground during cornering whereas knee sliders are thicker and made out of more abrasion resistant material hence will not wear out as much and will last much longer.

A bad news for all who were heading to A.H. Helmets,Mumbai...there is some problem with the BMC authorities and the shop has currently closed(broken) down...naturally his landline no. wont be answered...in case anyone heading there...call up on his cellphone no. before going...he can still arrange for the products you want from his godown....

i got this one from the showroom itself

basically it is a studds ninja 3G helmet

but yamaha graphics adds to the beauty
