There are literally *n* number of knock off brands that sell at that price point, which are basically nylon pull overs resold as jackets. But I'd suggest, you to save a little bit more say 3k more extra and you fall in the prime category of getting yourself a *proper* riding jacket. Even though there are stuffs sold at over 1k over the budget. I'd suggest you to save a little more and get yourself a good riding jacket.

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
    The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

      Yes exactly
There are jackets which are stuffed with sponges and thermocols and sold at 1k to 5k I have seen in market.it doesn't provide u the safety. When u spend lakhs on buying a bike..thr is nothing wrong in spending few extra thousands on the gears. Look for a trusted brand like dsg, rjs , cramster, alpinestar, spartan pro gear etc

Spartan Phaeton Vs. Rynox Rampage. Which one is better? Will be used for city riding and occasional small tours. Rynox Rampage is at 1680 and Phaeton at 2100 (prices increased very recently). Both Spartan and Rynox are known for their high quality products. I would highly appreciate any inputs and comments on these two gloves (in comparison).

All the prices of gloves of SPG have been increased to an extent, which is quite a bong on the pocket too. But considering the Rampage vs Phaeton, the latter takes the lead effortlessly. The Rampage too is a good glove, but the point where I'd rate it a tad more than the former is the use of CF finished looks, and the cuff latch that is missing in the Rampage for a more chic fit. But both almost fall in the same category of entry level stuff, the take is completely budget based. Plus the Rampage comes in tad more attractive colors, so that's a plus too.

Good man. I honestly didn't know what else to suggest within $100. Glad that you ordered. As to balaclava, I use the Schampa Coolskin Balaclava (their sizing is hit or miss). It's quite expensive with the current going rate of $66+. You may want to try and source locally available balaclavas.

              Cheers

Eagerly waiting for a detailed insight from you and some pictures as well. I have these boots in sight for quite some time now. The reviews look favorable too.

Thanks, though i didnt inquire about the Balaclava good to know about a new product. I use the Outdoor Research Helmetclava Balaclava which again got from USA. Actually I have been wanting to put up two for sale. I had ordered for 2 but as it was getting late and was staying there for only limited period ordered other 2 with expedited shipping. Eventually all reached and I have 4 now. I only need 2 at max. These are really good, check reviews here

I wear spectacles and they are not lid friendly and so they develop unnecessary geometry. So I am thinking of some brand/shop which can provide sports sunglasses with power lens. Google search yielded name of an e-shop by lenskart, but I am not interested in buying specs online. Please drop your suggestions

                    Warm Regards,

Try posting the same for in ads section, you might find some luck. But, again, congo on the Tour Master stuff. Considering the rupee downslide, I hope you paid when it was still in the 55-ish. Phew!

                      Cheers!

Exactly, even I was happy when I got to know that Ear plugs available separately. Ordered one straight away[not online]. Those combined with my lid, a very soothing riding experience.

Don't they block the sound from outside, I mean how would you know if some vehicle is close by or if a speeding vehicle is coming from behind? You won't even be able to listen to the horn. I really use by sense of hearing while riding, it helps me to keep track of nearby vehicles (specially on sides and at back). The rear view mirrors don't really come in handy except for when I need to an absolute left or right turn.
