i read bout how you got ripped off on the helmet. that bugger really tried to pull a trick. if you don't mind we can try out for the gear together. it would be helpful to have someone a little more experienced as this is my first time buy. what do you say?Originally posted by pranay View PostEven I am planning to upgrade my "riding gears". I am making do with a wind cheater for now. And you can get visors for GPR in Lalbagh road. Just be careful not to get ripped off. I got ripped off in Balaji Helmets. But visors won't be a problem I guess.

i need a visor change as well as the visor holders. broke them when i had the accident. now the visor pops out at times cause the holder on the left side is broken. i remember the visor cost as Rs. 300 odd a year ago. i will need the holder as well. Dont know the current cost.Originally posted by prafultripathy View PostHave the Balaji's gone bad recently?
I purchased my GPR from them last year, need to get replacement visors. I was quoted 350 bux for a clear one last year? How much does it cost now?

Sure dude. I think I will be going for a silver Cramster jacket. If its available. Orion was quoting 5.5K for that one. And I thought I saw the same type of jacket in Auto Service Banashankari for 5K. I think Orion puts a premium over everything nowadays.Originally posted by arunv_911 View Posti read bout how you got ripped off on the helmet. that bugger really tried to pull a trick. if you don't mind we can try out for the gear together. it would be helpful to have someone a little more experienced as this is my first time buy. what do you say?DoN\'t LivE tO DiE, dIe tO LiVe

@ shadez: i haven't put in a budget per se. i think 7-8 K is de riguer for good quality gear. i need something that i can use for my daily rides a well as highway runs.
@ praful: buying diredct makes sense. Cramster is close to where i live. about 3-4 KM away. i wanna check that out.
@pranay: please let me know whenever you want to step out for the same.
