    Need some help man,
    1. when you mount it on the tank using the magnetic base, in pothole roads how is the grip?
    2. Can you fit a 15'' laptop in the bag
    3. Give some practical examples of the storage space dude
Say like once a helmet is placed what else can be fitted? and some more real time usage inputs

    Bajaj CT 100

Sometimes it takes a whole tankful of fuel before you can think straight.

It was not that far on the map.

I have used Cramster Tank bag & following is my observation
      1. Didn't encounter problem of dislodging once in my recent 800 kms trip.
      2. For 2 & 3rd. Well, at least, the Cramster tank bags were not big enough to hold a laptop. A small, very small, helmet may fit in but then it won't leave space for anything else.

Why do you want to carry laptop & helmet in ur tank bag, anyway?

Actually their website claims they can hold a full faced helmet easily inside.

And regarding usage, my hometown is 500kays away from my place of stay. So when I ride, I wish to take my laptop with me. I prefer this way rather than the backpack method because most times I ride with a pillion.

I would like to carry most of my stuff in the tankbag but how practical it is I wanna understand. the tankbag boasts of 30+ litres capacity

hmm...then you can but be aware that since you will be travelling through not so good roads, chances of your laptop bouncing onto the hard tank metal will be high. So carry it on your laptop bag & you can carry your helmet inside it.
You would be wearing another, right?

It is not like I will be drivng in bad roads but wanted to know about it to be prepared. And may be I should carry my laptop in my laptop bag or ask the pillion to carry it

Tankbags aren't meant for fragile stuffs, unless they have some kind of a support underneath. Considering there's nothing on the inside at the bottom to absorb bike shocks, it's main purpose is to hold important stuffs during day to day commute and during a long trip.

Now that said, if you wanna keep a laptop, no one is gonna stop you But then, make sure you have some kind of thermocole or some kinda soft support to absorb shocks from the bike to cushion the laptop or any pricey fragile stuffs, works pretty good.

There is a lot of ways you can alter a tank bag

I had my mind for Breezer 4.0, which is outa stock, so inclined for Nero.

What you say should i wait till maybe june first week to get myself a Breezer? Thing is I got a tour planned from Bhubaneshwar to Lucknow starting 1st June, so need jacket by 29th may latest.

              regards
Not a problem. If you can't wait, go for the Cramster else you can go for the NERO, but I don't think NERO is as good in summer. But then, go for both of these jackets based on your budget, both are good VFM jackets.

              Cheers!

Ive done a 500+ kms solo ride while carrying my laptop in my Cramster tank bag. What I did was to put bottles of Gatorade under the laptop to ensure that it didnt take a beating. It helped that it was a complete highway ride.

It does. I have carried my full-faced helmet several times. Btw my helmet is pretty big.

It will all depend on the bag you go for and the shape of the tank. The Rynox Optimus is much more in capacity 21L normal and 29L when expanded against the cramster which max outs at 16.5L.
The optimus accomodates my LS2 even without expansion. It may take a laptop, but i wont recommend that. It would definately bounce.. If you really want to carry it any way, you can stuff some clothes at the bottom and then the lappy. Your head would be the best place for the helmet
i would be practically using the bag today evening or tommorow morning for a ride. So will post some pics and my reviews then. For now, had a 30km ride from the shop when the bag was empty and it did not bounce.

Hey buddy I'm from Goa, similar climate as in Chennai. I use RJays Octane & it is the most awesome jacket for summers. Excellent ventilation.

P.S. You need to use it without its rain liner :P

I have a Octane black. It has great ventilation. But I don't think any sort of ventilation can save you from Chennai's peak heat. IMHO there is no other jacket in that price with such ventilation. There is cramster Breezer 4 with complete mesh, but I felt the fit was not good enough.
