Yes - Bringing in from there is cheaper

Search for John Paul, he is from Chennai, he had been selling 1pc suit for around 15k (missed his number)

If Kari you can use a 2 pc suit but not in Chennai

          • With a budget of about 6-7K, I wish to have suggestions for a decent enough riding gear. HELMET and SHOES are not to be included.

            Thanks in advance

                • Cramster Breezer 4.0 is a pretty all rounder jacket at a good price point, I'd say you can go for it.

                  DSG Maze Jacket
Full-grain leather construction for shoulders, cuffs & waist
                  5,999.00Rs

                  DSG Triton Jacket: all-weather
                  5,999.00Rs

Those two jackets I mentioned are not meant for full-time summer use. The Maze can be used for summers, but still you'd be cooked. The TRITON is a winter jacket more or less, not at all suited for summer.

The Cramster being a mesh, it's all-weather jacket, remove the liners and it can be used as a summer jacket, and when it rains, you can use the rain liner and when it is cold, you can use the winter liner and at that price point you can't go wrong.

There is RJays Octane jacket which costs 7599 and it's a full-mesh summer jacket, and at that price point it's a little costly whereas the Cramster is comparatively cheap and is an all-weather jacket.

                  I'd say go for Cramster!

                  Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
                  The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

Today i checked out Cramster Breezer 4.0. I didnt like the quality of the jacket. The CE certified armour looked thin. Going to Mumbai tomorrow to check out RJays & Spartan.
Have you seen Spartan's Helios jacket? Any reviews about that as compared to Breezer from Cramster?

RJays Octane I've used it for a while and the RJays Octane is not an all weather, it's meant for summer and it's an all mesh jacket. Priced at around 7599 it's worth the buck. Provides good wind protection, OK rain protection and OK winter protection.

Regarding Spartan Pro Gear, kindly go back a couple of pages, you have a detailed review of their jacket used by one xBhpian with photos front and back. So that can give you a clear idea. I've not used it, but planning to buy one. So far all their stuffs have been received good.

Do let me know what your take is after going back a few pages.

                          Cheers!

                            • With the dollar price rising steeply any purchase from abroad is going to cost a bomb. Have put a full stop for a while and reconsidering my decision on purchase from foreign market or the domestic market.
