Hi guys,
I m asking a friend to get me a jacket from US. Please suggest me some. I want to know what options do I have. Or is it better if I get them from here ?
I am looking for a mesh jacket as I live in Mumbai and would be using during weekends for longs rides. My budges is around $150, can increase a little bit.Last edited by stoneboy; 07-30-2012, 11:05 AM.Cheers,

I picked up the Joe Rocket kawasaki replica mesh for about USD 160 from eBay

If you are in Bangalore up could try X-Torque store for a few jackets, in Mumbai PRS.

Need a Bag.
I need to buy a bag which i could be able to use every day and frequent weekend rides. It should have a laptop compartment and a good luggage space (For example - it should be able to contain around 20 - 25 Jeans).
It should be water proof.
I should be able to fix it to the rear seat when i use it for weekend rides.
Any suggestions ?

I'm assuming you mistyped the number....... if you haven't and want to carry 2 dozen jeans, I'd suggest a sidecar, which you can carry your trunk in!Originally posted by blackbeest View PostI need to buy a bag which i could be able to use every day and frequent weekend rides. for 4-5 jeans neatly folded, the Cramster Laplace bag is quite good. It also has the helmet holder which makes life easier for us bikers

Joe Rocket, my friend, is a tried and tested brand. You can look for other brands like Icon, AGV Sport, Tour Master, etc online. Try the closeout deals, you might get even an A* at your price.Originally posted by stoneboy View Post@Vectorz
Replica ? Is it not the authentic one ? What about the safety standards ? Any other options ? Some other good tried and tested international brand jackets around $150-$175 bracket ?
But having said that, I'd suggest you hit a store and try the jacket out before buying. Because very few things can be more annoying than an ill-fitting jacket flapping around at triple digit speeds. Also, given the current dollar to rupee rate, I personally don't think getting it from outside makes much sense. But then, that's me.
Apologies for the OT, but I really couldn't stop laughing at the above. Btw, Kolkata now has access to SOL/Spartan. ThanksOriginally posted by Sunnyside_up! You are not a chemical. So think before you react.
