I saw you guys talking about Scoyco and after that i got this link suggested from one of my cousin.

See this link.. Scoyco Motorcycle Racing Gloves MC10 - Gloves & More - Bike Accessories - Auto Gears

How can we conform if the website is selling the original gloves from Scoyoco?? And are the gloves worth to spend 1100/- Rs. for them.

    Kindly suggest.

Those are cycling gloves! You get the same for 500-600 on eBay.
      Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

        1. I am driving through a mix of freeway (5-10 mins) and city roads with full of traffic (15-20 mins) up and down.
        2. I will be always wearing a formal shoe and formal dress.
        3. Riding gear should not take much time to put on and off (in the busy mornings esp)
        4. There will be atleast 5 mins waiting in stand still (put together all signals and traffics clogs) and chennai is hot 10 months a year, and it humid too.
        5. Speed variations are like 40-65 kmph (70%) 65-75 kmph (30%)

So what kind of gears would be making sense in above conditions?
Severity and results of an accident does not depends upon how much you ride. It happens in a flash of moment. So I think your 1st point shouldn't/mustn't effect your choice.
Now considering other points. Here are my suggestions
        1. Buy a mesh jacket, with good armours. Make sure its not just a fake local pdt.
        2. A pair of leather summer gloves, something like cramster flux. Dont go for full gauntlet. However you may also look semi gauntlet gloves.
        3. Get a good knee guard. Preferebly with knox armours. Such as spartan perseus.

Thats the minimum you should have IMHO.

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
              The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

I am not sure if this one is a fake or a genuine one but the leather quality was awesome. I tried this jacket and it fit me perfectly, i really like pure leather jackets. I can bargain and bring the price down between 5.5-6k but is it worth it?
                Please advise.

Definite fake, please avoid. I'm sure that it's not genuine leather either. I recently saw a fake leather jacket that had a leather garment buyer confused about its authenticity - fake leather can be that good. If you want a genuine AStars, buy from the authorised dealers of PlanetDSG who are the authorised distributor for India. Don't be taken in by looks or the fake branding. You will feel silly after buying and then having everyone pull your leg about it when you meet up with other bikers.

@B7ACKTHORN, VJ bhai, I too have a fetish for leather. How good will be a custom-made leather jacket with armor? I know a reliable leather maker who is ready to make a custom jacket in any design. Apparently the guy is quite knowledgeable about leathers.
I asked him about riding leather, he offered a thick cowhide material which was thick & heavy and different from the soft goatskin leather used in fashion jackets. Checking online, most leather riding jackets were also from cowhide. He can also make pockets for armor, and I can always use the armor and back pads from my Cramster jacket.

Think it's a good idea? Suggestions welcome.

Most jackets use cowhide rather than goat hide, goat hide is soft and supple and used for under palms of gloves and et al and they have good tear resistances too and are durable than goat hide, but cowhide is heavy and it has good abrasion resistance due to the thicker leather, whereas goat is lightweight, soft and supple. So I hope now you got the point of what's why.

Secondly there is not a problem in designing your custom jacket, provided the seams are stitched in the right manner with good quality rip resistant theads, at least not easily. And then removable pockets for armors, perforations (if any) for ventilation. It's a very good idea, indeed I contemplated for the same and posted a review of it long back in this thread. But if you can get it done, I see no problems. But make sure it's done with proper supervision and the guy is experienced in what he's doing.

                            Cheers!
