Will Surgical Gloves be big enough to be worn over the leather glove? Though they come in different size, they are tight fitting right?Originally posted by punisherkunal View Post

I hope this helps.Originally posted by Ajay Vishwanath View Post
I just purchased a DSG Phoenix for my next year touring to Leh. Last year I used the Basic DSG Moto mesh which really was not that great.
The DSG phoenix is a fantastic glove for city touring purpose. The ventilation is adequate and I use this glove now almost everyday to get used to the feel. The glove couples perfectly with any riding jacket you might have, thus not allowing any air to enter your jacket from the wrist side. From the knuckle side you feel the airflow just about right to keep your hand dry. Make sure you get the right size. The down side is that I purchased the gloves from Amazon. And boy, this thing came with a lot of fungus on it. I think they stored it for centuries in some dungeon.
. After disinfecting the whole thing here is a pic for you to get a first hand view of the gloves.
The quality of the glove is very good, just about right for the price paid. The Aqua has much better finish and refinement.
For high altitude touring, the DSG Aqua works best. Tried and test the Manali - Leh route!

re: Universal : Riding Gear Thread
guys,
How are the Pro Biker gloves? they are available @ approx Rs. 400.. I am asking this because a guy in my office has a pair and they felt pretty good. obviously not as good as the one that i had tried out in Planet DSG, the full leather one, but at a price point of 400, felt VFM in my limited knowledge.
@theironhorse99 i know you'd suggest for something better, but at this moment i dont have the money to invest in something as costly, especially after buying the SOL.

These offer no protection whatsoever and will fail immediately in case of a fall. Had used them initially, but changed them pretty soon.Originally posted by thunderRider View Postguys,

Mate agreed those gloves are cheap but its better to have something rather than nothing.. i had being using those gloves for 6 months before i took a fall... My fingers were swollen but i didnt have any cuts or lacerations on plams and fingers apart from knuckle as the knuckle protector got displaced at time of impactOriginally posted by nadz11.ns View PostThese offer no protection whatsoever and will fail immediately in case of a fall. If werent this cheap gloves i would easily scarped my entire plam...
Ps:- this doesn't mean it will survive a high speed crash or some sort of..
Its good enough for city use..(where speeds are less)

i would never say yes to these however now thats you are ona constant upgrade path and will eventually get better ones .. get them once you get the bike... not now..
by the time if you can manage to save some more cash then directly get the good one....
good ones = full leather + full gauntlet.. there is no option to step down from protection..

They do fit tight on your gloves febin.Originally posted by febinjoy View PostWill Surgical Gloves be big enough to be worn over the leather glove? Though they come in different size, they are tight fitting right?
But there are various qualities amongst them, a good quality can stay on your gloves for a longer time.
And i meant to put them ON your gloves, there is no point wearing them beneath as the rains will deteriorate the gloves.
