if you can get someone for you to carry from states.. get a cortech.. damn good jackets for the price/budget you mentioned.. else you have plethora of options locally...
      check bachoo motors for rjays..

      hi ,

i have somehow magically made it possible to loose the armor of my jacket....
profoundly all of them. any local manufactures can supply just the armor ?
or whats the option if armor is damaged can we manage to get same from local firms dgs/zeus/spartan.

buying A-star armor again all of it will equate the cost of a decent jacket here itself. looking for options...

Thanks for the advice, theironhorse99. Unfortunately, I don't have anyone flying from the states before 2015. I think I shall settle down with RJays. Can someone please suggest the model name? I'm still open with any brand and model as I shall buy it by November end only. So suggestions are welcome.

i have tried the rjays octane ii at the bachoo motors. it looks great honestly. but i guess at 1k more the spartan Hyperion is even better. you would get it in moto101. its a brilliantly constructed jacket. i just bought one.

              Look no further than DSG...

I have one and it feels amazing... And it gives reasonable protection to shoulders and elbows... Back is padded too...

The Swift is cheaper than the Helios. However, I'll be picking my jacket soon from a local shop here in Hyderabad. So someone here with some inputs on the availability of the jacket will be awesome.. I'm more inclined towards the Helios now due to the high number of users base here..

Like @Doga advised earlier, I'll be fixing strictly to mesh since my riding is city only.

                      ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I am also looking for a nice pair of gloves. something that's up for the Hyderabad heat.
Please provide me with some good info here. Again I'll be buying the gloves after I visit the store locally from where I'll be buying the jacket. I don't want anything too expensive.. but good looking and good protection.. so what do you think about the SPG Phaeton?? I like the Ares tho.. other brands if better than these are also welcome since I'm completely new and I rely on your expertise & experience..

(Orange Helios with Orange Phaeton.. What do you think?? )

I second that. Have been using DSG products for 2 years and they are of high quality and sturdy. There are other more expensive ones for professionals from Alpinestar. It's way above my budget.
