Every riding jacket will fail in rains sooner or later. Be it marketed as rain proof or what.Originally posted by deep007 View PostGuys i want water proof riding jacket with full safety, chest, shoulder within 6000

Best is get a riding jacket and a separate rain suit to wear it over the jacket.
Ride safe and have fun.

True that. I used the Helios extensively, and the rain liner proved usefull against a drizzle or very less intense rain. Where i encountered heavy rains, i always got 70-80% drenched. Best option is to always get a rain coat over the jacket.Originally posted by nadz11.ns View PostEvery riding will fail in rains sooner or later. Be it marketed as rain proof or what.

I picked up a rain pyjama sorta thing from Decathalon, pretty cheap , and it never let a drop of water inside.

re: Universal : Riding Gear Thread
I paid a visit to Cramster retailer in Thane : Straub on my way to office(Well took a detour). They didn't have the newer Breezer 4S, but the older design Breezer 4.0 was there. Jacket looked and felt very good . Much better than the crappy resolution pictures cramster have on their site. The mesh on the inner side felt sturdier than the Spartan jackets'. This comparison of the inner mesh is based on the one time I tried the Helios and Icarus at Babloo motors, Vashi, nearly a month ago, so entirely based on my (hazy) memory.
The fit was snug too.I felt good. The liners looked decent too. Everything was hunky dory till the time I told the seller to show me armour. He pulled a shoulder armour out from the right sleeve. Came out well and the mesh didn't look like tearing when he did. But I was almost horrified to see the armour. Look very thin, no CE certification engraved/embossed on it with only a cramster branding. Now I do understand that armour needn't look fat , but this felt plasticky to be honest. Nowhere near the PU CE armours I have seen on the Spartan Icarus and other jackets?
Now I am confused.
Anyone using the breezer here? How are the armours? Are they really that thin and plasticky ? More important, do they have some kind of CE certification engraved on them?
I don't think the reseller would replace the armours with a fake !
Also checked the blaster glove. Looks good that glove!! Do they last? Anyone using here ?The hero always RIDES into the sunset!

I use a Cramster breezer 2.0. It has two layers of armor, one is stitched under the mesh and then the regular armor that can be taken out. Both the back and shoulder armor in my jacket have ce mark.
I don't know about the current jackets but mine seems solid after all these years. The mesh is just fine and jacket is holding good.
Couple of months ago I had a crash while taking a corner, speed would be around 70. My jeans was torn and three four stitches near elbow came off as if melted, but I just got up, got back on the motorcycle and rode on... Wasn't even a little hurt.

I use it with the thermal layer removed.
The jacket holds good against decent amount of rainfall in Bangalore. I can drive at speeds of around 80 without any issue.
The waterproof pockets stay dry.
I have not faced deadly torrential rain at Bangalore this season though so cannot say in case of torrential downpour !
Protections feels adequate and the its comfortable enough in the heat as it breathes really well in my experience.
