re: Universal : Riding Gear Thread
I purchased Taichi Stealth knee guards a couple of days back. Used it on sunday for about 4 hours. 2 hours riding and 2 hours without riding. No major issues as such. Cost Rs. 3000. Since I have used them only once so far, can't give any review yet.Originally posted by Pritesh Patel View PostGuys can anyone recomend me a knee gaurd that can be worn inside the pants cz its not possible for me to wear them in my college . re: Universal : Riding Gear Thread
Depends on the comfort you want and the pants you wear. If you are into slim fit or skinny jeans then nothing will fit. Else, get any CE rated one and they will fit fine. I, personally use the THOR Sector knee guards, both outside and inside. I do not wear them inside unless I am taking them off in a couple of hours. I think to wear them inside throughout the day (college) would be very irritating. I suggest either take them off in the restroom once in college or wear them outside and keep them in a backpack, preferably the second way. If you are looking at Knee sized ones then checkout the perseus (??spell) or the Taichi one (check Paytm store).Originally posted by Pritesh Patel View PostSame here going to buy a jacket not much expensive and gloves arpund 2k . And wanted to ask that can we wear knee gaurds inside pants, as have to go to college everyday and had an accident today.
I have not used one but I have heard from an acquaintance of mine about a flying mobile stand at high speeds (150 kmph or so) But I cannot vouch for this information.Originally posted by captain666 View PostCan anyone give me a review on the Rynox mobile mount 5.5 inch please

re: Universal : Riding Gear Thread
Hi xBHPians,
I'm planning to buy a riding jacket for myself.
Currently I live in Guwahati. There are only two shops that have riding gears thus I've limited options to chose from. I want to try it on before purchasing. The requirement and budget is as per below.
Usage: mostly in city ride. 2weekend trips in a month involving no more than 500kms a day.
The jacket should be such that it can be used in all season, be it summer rains or cold.
It should've good protection ( I don't have much of knowledge about protection and ratings but I've heard that CE rated jackets are good)
It should be durable and should not look very flashy neither should be too old school types, I don't want to show off to anyone but it's just to protect myself.
Here in Guwahati, only cramster and DSG products are available. I'm a bit skeptical about ordering online because of fit.
I'm 24years, 5'10" slim build. I ride a Yamaha fzv2 red.
My budget is below 7k.
Your help in choosing right jacket for me would be much appreciated.
Thanks.

I personally use DSG Evo which is ok type of jacket good for both city & highway purpose at that cost and it has both winter and rain liners. But your budget is 7k then you can also opt for Rynox or DSG Nero.
Ride safe

Thanks for the quick response.
While there are many options online as you mentioned there is only one available here in Guwahati which is Cramster Breezer 4.0. The shopkeepers here don't keep many brands here, only cramster, dsg and rynox and they have jacket only of cramster. I saw the cramster jacket when I visited while buying the gloves. I didn't try it.
As i mentioned I'm a bit worried about ordering it online because of fit. Will the fit be ok? I mean what if it doesn't?
Also, can you please tell me what features each of your mentioned jackets have? Protectors, jacket durability etc etc.

re: Universal : Riding Gear Thread
Bro atleast in your area there are shops who are dealing with riding gears but in my area ( chhattisgarh ) there are no shops for quality riding gears. I had to buy from bangalore, i would suggest you to avoid buying from online stores because of fitting but if there are no choice you can buy from online stores like Amazon stores have DSG, Rynox, Zeus and Astar jackets. Even i saw LS2 jackets also but i doubt their quality and durability.Originally posted by H3c70R View PostHi buddy,

Cramster Breezer is a decent product. You can try it or any other Cramster product in a physical store and then order the same online if you wish.Originally posted by H3c70R View PostHi buddy,
