sir, even if you wear BMWs Goretex one piece rain suit, nothing can protect from the wrath of nature. Only thing is the permutation based upon speed of ride + intensity of rain + quality of rain wear. But for sure, mesh + rain liner INFERIOR to two piece rain suit INFERIOR to single piece rain suit INFERIOR

I have used my Nero in very heavy rains for an hour or so. Except for the cuffs and collar nothing else was wet. A waterproof stops a lot of the incoming water.

Yes but then again I guess the nero is a cordura and will bake you in the summers?

Depends on summers. Bangalore summer beating at around 38 is almost as manageable as any other riding jacket. The so-many chains of the Nero can be undone and they flow a lot of air to keep you in decent condition in summers like these. No idea about what happens when the mercury crosses the 40 mark !

I have purchased solace sprint mesh jacket recently. waterproof thermal liner is inside which is removable. CE approved armors. gives proper ventilation during summer
like in Pune. the length of the jacket is short I prefer this.

Funny thing that u mentioned about CG not having a shop, Guwahati had two shops from Adventure18 and Outdoor travels. I called Outdoor travels today and they said that they have been closed the shop since last two months.

Cramster Breezer is a decent product. You can try it or any other Cramster product in a physical store and then order the same online if you wish.

So get it, try it at home. If it does not fit just click on the return button and let them be picked up. Order another size and try again. Amazon fulfilled products have no issues with returns.

Nero will get you through all 4 seasons if you are good with sweating in summer. They are protective but hefty. They look very subtle. The pockets are big and nice and can carry quite a few things in them. Comes with a thermal liner as well.

I've been using Helios for a little over 47000 Km & here's what I got to share...
All season jacket = Mesh Jacket + rain liner + warm liner (quilt); the quilt just protects the warmth of the body that's all & one has an option to buy it separately as well. Helios comes with rain liner & is a mesh jacket thus making it possible to use in Summer & Monsoon; for Winter, the rain liner itself blocks the cold air (I'm talking South of India, not the North where a warm liner is MUST)

Point is that, if in South, Helios is more than sufficient to cover "all season"

I've read your review on Helios on Team-BHP. Sure is one hell of a jacket for summer and rainy days. Would have been invincible one if came with a thermal liner. Spartan should think over it, a helios+500bucks for a thermal liner would be a treat for anyone.

as per your need you can check out the solace sprint mesh jacket comes @ 5600 with CE approved armors. i think they have 4 colors so
according to the bike color you can choose a jacket. you can check this link for better option.

Further, I've zeroed my search on these jackets, no preference.

not much i have done around 1700 kms Pune-Bangalore-Pune until now. i observed nice ventilation. & jacket is not that heavy as I check the zeus mesh jacket
but it is quite heavy & not comfortable while riding in summers especially.

Can it be used in cold, sometimes I've to visit Shillong, Meghalaya which is quite colder in cold season temp. around 3deg C.

Well am not sure to which limit the thermal jacket can hold . But hey nature always wins .

Since its a mesh jacket , the ventilation will be pretty good for the summer .
