I had earlier decided for SPG helios but the guy mentioned that they had received many complaints for SPG gears so went ahead with Rynox. As a startup I am fine with it and with time might upgrade to a better one.
It might interest you to know that neither Meandering India nor Outdoor Travel Gear are SPG dealers - so what do you think they will say about products that they do not deal with?

The best saddle bags now in the market are from Viaterra n Rynox. Do check both their websites and pick the one which suits your needs.

For 200NS i dont suggest any tank bag especially for your Leh trip. Better to go with tail bag than tank bag for your Leh trip

Hydration pack is not at all over-hyped. I myself use one ( BTwin 2liters hydration pack which i got for Rs 1000/- ).

I read somewhere on the Internet, that when the bag gets half empty, it just falls down to the bottom of your backpack like a blob and the pipe is unable to pump water through it. Has it happened to you too? I was actually thinking of buying one for myself.

This does happen in hydration bags that are poorly designed and do not account for this problem. In well made and designed units, the hydration bladder is held upright by means of a clip/buckle/strap and this will prevent the bladder from sagging. I don't know about Sandeep's BTwin ( I think it is a well made product and should not have this problem ) . I use a CamelBak and a Kreiga and both have the mechanism to prevent this from happening. If I am not mistaken, even Viaterra's have this feature, and is an excellent Indian product.

Mind posting some pictures with both of them together. And where do you keep the pipe. I mean always hanging on to the bag or always inside the helmet. ??

was just checking out amazon india website randomly and noticed that they have newly started selling products for riders and drivers and their bikes and cars...

guess what - we might have a short term and cheap alternative to knee sliders without buying the costly and uncomfortable leather pants or suits - PREMIUM QUALITY STAINLESS STEEL KNEE AND ELBOW GUARD PADS FOR MOTORCYCLE RACING, RIDING.: Amazon.in: Car & Motorbike :P :P

i know i know, they aren't actual sliders but only protectors, but for short term purpose and as a cheap alternative, the stainless steel knee cover should work okay rubbing the tarmac for a couple of seconds once in a while :P or maybe not. someone here should buy it and test it out :P

hopefully amazon's menu of the products for riders will only increase and get better with time.

Ohh...I was not aware of that...as originally was interested in buying SPG Helios...the guy at the store said that they used to keep SPG inventory but due to frequent complaints had stopped it.

neways I have already bought the Rynox jacket...hope it turns out good...BTW i compared it with peers and its more on likes of DSG EVO maybe a few plus/minuses.

Nope it never happened with me. Btwin also has hydration bags ( can be purchased separately for your bladder pack ) if you want one. In my case as i use my backpack more i dint buy a hydration bag and i put the bladder pack in the laptop compartment of my backpack.
