Will check the other options.For gloves, my suggestion, is to stay away from DSG since I have heard a lot of stories about stictches coming out etc and not exactly the best after sales support.What about Cramster?Rynox, Aspida, TBG all make good gloves. Personally, I would go with TBG because of the features in the street gloves for 3K and after sales support from them. If they are indeed A*s then nothing better for a knee guards.
My job requires me to use these regularly so I have plenty of them.You already might be having them but still I would mention it. A pair of ear plugs and a good quality anti sweat socks from Nike/Adidas. Will help in wearing longer boots if needed.
15K was for the entire gear out of which 5K was for the helmet alone. Now that I have it I have 12.5K left to spend.Is it 15K or 5K ? You have enough budget to get good gear.
Noted.I wouldn't trust Vega. I think they are from China and have seen a few boots in motosport. Go for more known brands that are available.
There's no Army Canteen in Goa but a Navy Canteen. However I don't know anyone from the Navy so can't go there. Are there any similar options from Lee Cooper, Woodland etc?They look like leather sneakers to me and not protective. You look for those tall boots from Army canteen. You could try there.
I saw them in the Vega store. Anyway I'll stay away from them.Originally posted by krish2778 View Post
That's why I was surprised to see the Fila Isonzo on Snapdeal and the Motorsport and Basketball models looking exactly the same.Riding shoes kind of protection cannot be available on any normal sneakers or basketball shoes or whatever.
Well not really my choice. I asked because some people here were using them.They do not qualify as riding gears, so it's your choice after all.Last edited by P3T3R; 04-23-2015, 04:36 PM.

In that case, wait it out and let the stock return before you plunge in.
Will check the other options.
What about Cramster?
I know no one who uses one and every says they have 'heard' they are no good. Similar to DSG. Build quality issues. But I want to make it clear I have only 'heard' and not see anything personally.

Great ! Pass me on a few ear plugs maybe

2.5K = gloves
5k = jacket
3k = knee guards
IMO you should push in a riding pant with good abrasion resistance and you already have protection in the knee guard.
PGS BIKING GEARS DELHI, INDIA
2.1K - pants
Total = 12.6K Also you could go with a Thor moto cross style knee guard instead of A*s for 1500 if you want to squeeze the budget a bit.

check out cat boots or woodland boots or any steel toe boots with ankle support like this

@Sourjya Guha, @P3T3R, God! you guys and the looong/multi-colored/inline response/multiquote/broken up quotes
Peter's handle itself takes ages to type correctly
Just wanted to add, Army style boots can be picked up off the street from local shoe sellers. PGS products are selling like hot cakes due to the low pricing. Many sellers push to buy these over cramsters,spgs. They are also offering 1 year warranty over the standard 6 months. Are there any other users in xBhp who have used them? I find the website language and the company bit doubtful. No one knows for sure what pgs is. One seller in Pune was claiming it is a 45 year old company !The way you ride is the way you are..

1. Spartan Progear (SPG)
2. Rynox
3. PlanetDSG
4. Crapster
Being in KL, SPG Icarus (Mesh) or SPG Atlas (Codura) will be more suitable in terms of quality of the jacket, VFM & WeatherSkill is what keeps you on a Motorcycle

Hi,Originally posted by captain666 View PostCan anyone give me a review on the Rynox mobile mount 5.5 inch please
I don't own one but used it once during one of my rides.
It's waterproof but not suggested to use during heavy downpour. It fits to the handles bars pretty well and holds the mobile in place what so ever might be the terrain.
