Can you put on surgical gloves on leather gloves? arent surgical gloves meant to be skin tight. how can they fit??

My plan was to go for a Cramster Breezer 4S. But at the store, when I saw the Evo and its features, I decided to go with it. In the initial feel, the Evo felt slightly heavy(very marginal) than the Breezer. But once we wear it, the difference is not felt.

Disclaimer* - These are my opinion which is an initial hands on feel of my new Jacket. Some of you may have difference of opinion.

        Great review!!

Could you provide some opinion on the "removable thermal and rain liners" and "Removable spine protector"? Some pictures will be nice too..

          Hi guys,

I will be buying riding gears for weekend touring on a powerful 370cc rc390 (want to be equipped for crashes at ~140kmph or so which is possible ) ... I read through past 10 pages or so and some doubts have cropped up, if someone could clarfiy please (I am very new to this) -

          1) in general leather jackets would offer better protection over mesh but at the cost of discomfort in hot climate. Right?
          2) this mesh in the mesh jackets is a metal mesh right? Or a textile mesh? (Sry if its too naive)
          3) if I buy CE rated a) elbow, b) shoulders, c) back and d) chest protectors, is it possible to wear them with a leather jacket I already have? Do these protectors attach to your body or the jacket? How will it compare to say a dsg evo in your opinion?
          4) CE rated would have different rating levels right?.... do these protection gear tell u what CE rating they got so that I can check online what it means in terms of safety?!
          5) if I were to go by point 3 above, where can I buy these prorectors only (ce rated ones)?
          6) is there anything specifically to protect the neck area and the spine?? Can I buy these separately or they come bundled only with jackets?

Since I will not be touring too much I would give higher priority to protection than weather comfort (I generally dnt feel too hot) ..... but would like good comfort in movement of limbs etc.

Thanks a ton for the help

Finally Got my Gear!! Felt different.. felt awesome!! Not comfortable with the gloves.. but I guess it takes time to get used to it..
Thanks everyone for your inputs.. got the following gear..

            1) MT Axxis
            2) Spartan Icarus
            3) SPG Phaeton

Agreed, the jacket felt heavy to hold by hand, but once put on, I was able to stay in it (with rain liner) for about 10 minutes without sweating.. once it's off, I can stay on the jacket for a very long time.. The gloves felt at home.. Only my left thumb joint feels somewhat pressed, but I'm guessing that it'll be okay and expand in time.. Helmet, my ears thanked me profusely.. felt like my head is in a big car made specifically for it.. slightly tight fitting but the shop keeper said that it'll loosen a bit over time in usage.. Thought that wind noise is normal until I experienced the quiet in this helmet.. Wind noise is only above 60.. Upto 60 there's virtually no sound!! Got the gears from Dynamic Ryderz.. All prices as per online MRP.. no discounts..

                      The answer is "Alpinestars".

                      Precisely Alpinestars Atem Leather Suite.

                        1) Leather protects you from the rashes. It will not protect you from a fracture or other damages due to impact.
                        2) It is Textile mesh which is used to provide ample ventilation to the rider.
                        3) You can get a body armor which you can wear under any jacket. (like the Alpinestars Bionic Pro Jacket - Alpinestars Bionic Pro Jacket - RevZilla). But keep in mind.. Protection always comes at a cost. Normally riding jackets comes with removable armors / protectors. There will be internal pockets where the armors could be inserted. DSG Evo also works this way. It is advised to replace your armor after a crash.
                        4) Find more info here - Motorcycle armor - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. The back armor have 2 levels.
                        5) You can either go for a full upper body armor(Or a full body armor) or get a Leather Jacket (Check here - Leather Motorcycle Jackets - RevZilla) as per your budget and choice.
                        6) Spine protectors are available separately. But if you are getting a Jacket with back protector, you will be getting a spine protection. Not aware of any neck protectors.

                        Hope this info helps.

                            Hey Guys,

I have been using the DSG Nero for about 2 years and have had 2 crashes in it so far. I guess its about time to replace it as it is in bad shape. So am looking for a textile/leather jacket within 10-15k, and would be great if I could get a few suggestions.
My Primary requirement is for riding in cold and rainy weather. AFAIK, SPG Hyperion is one option that I have, is there anything else that I should be considering?

This thread have the details of the shops

Regarding brands : Cramster, DSG, Spartan, Rynox, Komine Alpinestars have everything related to Biking gears.

I personally would recommend leather gloves, they might feel uncomfortable in summers but safety comes with a price.
