Try the DSG EVO.. Full mesh with all season removable linings and CE approved armour (except on the back but upgradable). Looks nice too although slightly on the heavier side. At 5k is totally vfm.

I want to purchase a Riding Jacket ( budget 7-8k with certified back armor as well, would be good if its orange color matching with the KTM) , Gloves (3-4k) initially followed by knee guards( 2-3k) . Are riding boots necessary or will normal shoes do the job

For KTM orange color riding jacket you can go with Solace Sprint having four colors. price is also 5600 with CE approved armors.
Have a look on image of jacket with the reviews as well

          SPRINT-Orange

          cheers

Yes Centaur is pretty great, looks great, has ample protection and no logos anywhere except a subtle logo on the strap, they are perfect for everyday usage as well as for half day tours. Haven't had a chance to test them in rains though...

Anyone has any experience with the Zeusgear coolmax balaclava ? Or Outdoor Travel Gear ?

Or is there a better option available for our weather ? Wouldn't want to spend more than a grand or two at most.

I got the Zeusgear coolmax balaclava some 2 weeks back.My brother has got 200Rs balaclava from amazon.in.
i have used both.2 weeks is a pretty short time but quality and use wise I dont see much difference except the zeus comes with headmask.

Ah ! Thanks ! I use the simple one, which I had received free during my helmet purchase, as well now. Wear it inside out so that seams do cause irritation. It is made of cotton that sticks and breathes not very well. I was wondering if coolmax lycra would handle it better. Looks like no !

I would pick the SPG over Cramster because
                          1. SPG have a better track record, unlike Cramster who are pretty dubious.
                          2. Chennai is home ground for SPG so support would be pretty good if needed.

Hey guys I tried to buy the SPG Atlas jacket this weekend from the website, but all I could do is enter my name and contact details after adding it to the cart. I got a "we'll get back to you" message, but that's it. Any idea how I actually make the payment and get the jacket?

                            Any suggestions, especially @Sunnyside_up!
