Re: Universal : Riding Gear Thread
Rampage gloves are real good for daily use. Have ample protection and ventilation for comfort. I have been using Rampage for nearly 2 years now. Go for them.Originally posted by rahlp View Post

Re: Universal : Riding Gear Thread
Check out Flux Summer gloves from Cramster. I just bought it recently, still under break-in so cannot comment. Search this thread, there are many reviews available about this gloves. I don't like a black patch of armor on the knuckles so went for it. It retails for 1650/-Originally posted by rahlp View PostOk thanks. Any other options within 2k?

Re: Universal : Riding Gear Thread
Guys any suggestion on under 6k Jacket? Any Reviews on the Solace Sprint Jackets?
I ride in the Andamans so, the Jacket must be waterproof.Well-trained reflexes are quicker than luck.

I think you should purchase a good rain protector along with a decent jacket.Originally posted by Shaktiv3 View PostGuys any suggestion on under 6k Jacket? Any Reviews on the Solace Sprint Jackets?

Re: Universal : Riding Gear Thread
Still confused with the Choice of Jackets?
Solace Defender
Solace Sprint
XDi X1
DSG Nero
Solace Defender on Paper looks good protection wise but the styling of the jacket is total disaster (My opinion) and their few hundred rupees cheaper Sprint looks classy buy lacks in feature. But they were generous enough to offer me a discount in shipping charges if i buy
Another New Jacket the XDi X1 Mesh Jacket looks good too but haven't read any review about them except from the people who are selling it.

hi shakti
dude never heard any positive or negative for XDi X1 so i can't say about it. DSG Nero is one of the good choice but i never used it just heard from my friends
it s pricing is 6500. i don't have idea about the solace defender as it is a waterproof as per the solace. i m using solace sprint orange right now. at 5600 quality is
awesome yes it can be waterproof if you wear thermal liner which is waterproof. but if you remove the thermal liner then it wont be waterproof as i am using it
in bangalore rain but here rain is not that heavy. i m using it with thermal waterproof liner in rain & in summer i m using it without liner.
about protection then it is ce approved. & quality material is used, all over. i am using it since last year september i guess but until now no issues. even i got
small accident as well when i was riding with solace sprint but not a single scratch on my body as my bike got several one
i hope it would help you out for selection as other brands are also there in market with good mesh jackets but pricing is too high & solace providing same
quality with lesser pricing.
good luck

As far as my knowledge, there is no Indian jacket which comes with chest protector...you can buy it separate and use with your current jacket.Originally posted by backlash4u View PostGuys. Suggest a jacket mesh type which has chest protection too. My brother has an alpinestars jacket which has one. He
Insists on me getting a jacket with some kind of chest protection. It makes sense even to me. I am currently using a cramster breezer.
