Re: Universal : Riding Gear Thread
Most of the brands have few options in their stacks.. For city rides you may use short full fingers gloves.. Full gauntlet are the safest at all time.. Also, check the material as per your use, DSG motomesh can be a good options but since you have a good budget try few leather gloves too.Originally posted by ashish14 View PostBilal Ahmed

My seller told me All Time Rain Gloves will be a bit uncomfortable at other times.. Since location is Bangalore, may be you can try like those motorcycle over-gloves for rain. Just my opinion mate... ☺ Be 100% sure before you make that investment.Originally posted by Shaktiv3 View PostYou can try the Zeus Aqua Pro gloves. it claims to be waterproof, but there ain't many reviews on its waterproofing capabilities.

DSG motomesh gloves can be good for rain, but does compromise in terms of safety. bought a pair and returned it next day. Try the Solace Gloves. the store is based in bangalore. so check it as well.Well-trained reflexes are quicker than luck.

Re: Universal : Riding Gear Thread
I just now received my JCB excavator shoe from safetyshoebazaar.. It was recommended in few sites that we should go for one size bigger than our actual shoe size for steel toe shoes. Mine is 9 but i went for 10. That was a wrong decision. It is big for me now. There return policy is so poor that i have pay the courier charges. Its comes around 500. But the shoe cost is 1830Originally posted by Shaktiv3 View PostGuys, Can you suggest a good alternative of a riding boot. Have my eyes on the JCB Boots. Should have a decent ankle support?
Regarding shoe:
Built quality is good. Stitches are super cool . Ankle protection is OKAY.. it will not safeguard your leg from twisting but it can save your ankle from abrasion .. thats it. Also its bit bulky. if you are big built it will look good.

Re: Universal : Riding Gear Thread
thanks for the review. but i am not very big build and i need the shoes so that i don't twist my ankles (right shin and ankle suffered compound fracture). Anyways thank you, i think the only choice i have is to invest in riding bootsOriginally posted by Black0ut View PostBuilt quality is good. Stitches are super cool . Re: Universal : Riding Gear Thread
As a beginner and mostly riding to office, i was looking for alternative to riding shoes. Found armstrong (a brand in safety shoes) 'defender' @1900 rs to be useful as riding shoes and it will go well with formal dress.Originally posted by Shaktiv3 View PostGuys, Can you suggest a good alternative of a riding boot. Looking forward to buy them in coming weeks. Also they have 'protecto' as riding shoes available at 3100 rs.
Any reviews of this brand??

Re: Universal : Riding Gear Thread
Protecto got good reviews in most of the websites. "Defender" is 50-50. Paytm is giving good offer for Protecto but size 10 not available. Check the reviews for size.. Few mentioned, for protecto we need to order one size bigger.. please checkOriginally posted by Kiran.jagtap View PostAs a beginner and mostly riding to office, i was looking for alternative to riding shoes. The Tarmac street boots costs Rs 4999. i personally think its a better deal if u can raise the budget a little specially for ankle protection and is waterproof.Originally posted by Black0ut View PostProtecto got good reviews in most of the websites.
