Thanks. I was Let's Gear Up's very first customer so I will check them out
Also came across Rynox Gears and saw 2 gloves in the price range. They looked to be of good quality but no idea on what to expect in terms of longevity

      • Which riding jacket to buy within 7-8k?

Hi friends, I am confuse as to which riding jacket to buy. My budget is 8k max. Pls suggest.
I am from Delhi and we experience extremes of both summer and winter so that should be a point to keep in mind while suggesting.
Important consideration to kept in mind- Safety, Comfort and Style
I have narrowed down to the following, but other suggestions are more than welcome:
        1) DSG TRITON
        2) SPARTAN HELIOS
        3) ZEUS AETOS
        4) ZEUS All Terrain Jacket

Please suggest which 1 to buy and don't shy away from giving other suggestions. Thank you

Consider buying a knee guard with hard outer shell and covers the side of the knees. I was using Spartan Perseus when i had a fall on 25th of September. Side of my knee took the impact and my leg is in brace after a surgery. Total hospital expense till now is nearly 1 lakh. Spend a fraction of it and go for better options.

Bionic Knee guards or Knee Braces(Bit expensive). You can get Alpinestars Bionic Knee guards for 6k or 9k from planetdsg. I don't know much about the Mototech Bionic Knee guard. Its available for around 3.5k.

hi mate all the four choices are good not a problem with the budget up to 8k. but above this zeus is quite expensive & i saw zeus all terrain jacket
one of my friend having it. but i have doubt that it is CE approved, yes they mention that it is CE approved but at armors having just cloth tag is attached.& CE marking
not embossed on armors like other brands so not sure whether it is CE approve & with this doubt 7400 is i think wastage.

DSG & SPARTAN are good options as i don't think there any difference yes triton is around 7500 & helios is 7800 again it depends upon your choice, style & comfort.
apart from this rynox & solace are good brands for mesh/cordura jackets. pricing wise both these brands are competitive. you can check both of these.
                rynox-asphalt/tornado & solace-sprint/defender are good options

thats my opinion now you need to take decision

                cheers

Checkout DSG Genesis as well its a good option in your budget. Helios is full of features.
Prefer comfort over brand. You must try all the jackets on your list and buy the one that fits you properly.

It is not a liner but a sleeveless vest. I highly doubt if it would provide enough warmth to sustain at 0 degree.

Buddy no matter what a brand quotes, I highly doubt the usage of carbon Fibre in the gloves. These are all carbon fibre finish though it is difficult to figure out the difference.
I would recommend you ask the TBG guys if its Carbon Fibre or Carbon Fibre Finish (be specific) I am sure they will tell you that its not carbon fibre but just carbon fibre finish.
