    Please help.
    Thanks in advance. ;-) :-)
I have never read about or seen the boots you have mentioned. However, you can check these boots

    1) orazo picus: http://www.orazosafety.com/index.php/product/picus/

    2) Solace Roha: ROHA-Short shoes

These were the top two contenders while I was choosing. I eventually went for the orazo as it was less costly and had read good reviews of it on their thread here as well as on other forums.

I received them last and have been wearing them to office. The fit is nice. I am yet to take it on a long ride though. but first impression is good.

Hi all, i am in need of a riding jacket. My budget is 6k at max (if i couldn't get a decent jacket in 5k). I will be riding mostly in temperate conditions with occasional monsoon rides.
      My options are:
      1.Solace Sprint
      2.Rynox Air GT
      3.Spartan ASPIDA Icarus
      4.Spartan SCIMITAR Transition
      Thanks in advance☺

        Guys,

I need a pair of Gloves, i have read some good reviews about DSG Revive. Suggest some decent gloves within 3k.
I am using pro bikers gloves for almost a year now, need a better pair of gloves. The pro biker gloves were worst during winter (My fingers were numb).

Not sure if this helps. But Scimitar has no warranty whatsoever. Giving you a heads up.

Get a full gauntlet gloves. If it is difficult use it for city then, buy a cheaper short gloves for city rides.

There are semi-gauntlets too! From what you said they sound perfect for you. Check out gloves from Aspida (I remember the Centaur looks good!), BBG, Solace, Rynox (I use the Shield Pro) etc.
My suggestion would be to get the semi-gauntlets and then save up , and get full gauntlets for the long rides.

Short gloves are good for short low-speed rides (generally in the city) where there is lesser risk of an accident. Full gauntlets are always better as most of them provide protection to the wrist bone which is always better.
But then, accidents can occur anytime, anywhere and it's up to each one of us to gear up wisely. Cheers.

Afaik no gloves are 100% waterproof and winter...a surgical gloves or fleece glove under normal gloves would do.

ok , thanks bro , if i buy full gauntlets do you think they will be difficult to use on a daily basis ? i mean are they difficult to remove and put on ?

Full gauntlets do get pretty cumbersome to put on and take off especially for city commutes. Add traffic into the equation and the sweat may become a nuisance.
It depends on how long your commute is.
If it's an 80+ kilometre daily commute which may also involve a fair stretch of highways, it's better to use the gauntlets. However, if it's any less than that and you don't expect to be doing highway speeds, the short-cuff and semi-gauntlets are generally more practical.
As I said, it's up to you. If I have to ride a kilometer on internal roads just to get myself some snacks from the bakery I just ride with my Studds Helmet. When it comes to office the LS2 lid, semi-gauntlet gloves, jacket and knee-guards come into use and on the weekend, the MT Blade and the full-length boots come into the picture as well. It all depends on the risk you're willing to take and the practicality of the situation you're in.

I went to try out some jackets today (preparing for Ladakh tour next month) and tried XDI as well as LS2. Both were fitting properly but with LS2, I found that forearms were rather tight and XDI's Velcro felt better than press-buttons on LS2. On the other hand, LS2 seems to hold on its own in terms of its nylon and XDI felt a bit softer. Though shop owner told me that both use same nylon material. LS2 has bigger mesh and XDI has finer one - but otherwise they match each other quite well.

LS2 costs ₹ 7700 and XDI is ₹ 7000 here (in Pune). I liked XDI slightly better but would like to go ahead with something that is more durable (6-7 years or so) and I thought it would be best to ask here before purchasing. Would appreciate if you can share your experiences and let me know which one is better to use and in terms of durability/quality.

                                TIA,
                                - Manish
