I am planning to buy a RE protective jacket. It costs around 8,500. Does anyone have owned it? Is it worth the extra money? I need it basically for touring. My daily commute is not an issue as I run a farm. Please share your review and guide me as to which gear I should buy.

Just tried alpinestar jacket model- andes dry star its fit and finish is just amazing was planning to buy zeus all terrain jacket but after seeing this my heart is stuck in alpinestar . But the cost is hell of a diffrence . Zeus is 7500 and alpinstar is 20k .
Just saw some reviews about zeus all terrain jacket its water resistant and non waterproof . So if it raining this zeus jacket wont help much . Can anyone plz comfirm about this .

If you have mind towards zeus, pls have a look at Rynox/ Solace jackets they are verified by most good riders! Their quality is far better, Protection is also good. Alpinstar, no doubt, is good but if you want to save some buck, Rynox and Solace can serve you better.

Since you have a good budget try out the new Rynox Stealth Evo its for some 10k. Its packed with almost everything in terms of protection and features. -Knox Flexiform armor for Elbow/Shoulder...Knox AdvanceX Armour at Back..Du Pont Cordura at impact zones..These protection features beside the Stealth evo I guess are only available in Revit Jacket.

It also has some 15-16 ventilation...7-8 Storage pocket with a waterproof internal pocket...removable thermal liner. Outer shell is water-resistant, but it comes with a rain outer wear with a hoodie which as per their website is hipora coated and thus breathable. (which can also be used as a separate rain jacket). Don't miss to check this one out.

Finally replaced my old riding gear.

Jacket: New launch called Aura all weather from Spartan at 6K. Comes with rain and thermal inner detachable liners. Looks jazzy and sturdy. I wish it would have come with Knox armors. I would have gladly paid extra for it.

Pants: Rynox Advento. Needs no introduction 😃

Gloves: BB Racer. Breaking in now. I am too used to my old Cramster Twister so have kept them just in case...😉

I recently bought a KTM RC 390 and have been looking to upgrade my riding gear as with this machine i feel that i need more protection. I am really confused with what to choose from and where to choose from. My budget is 4k to 5k for gloves and 8k for riding jacket. Can someone suggest an online reliable portal or any shop in Delhi ncr who sell gears at correct prices(Not the overpriced ones). I am currently located in gurgaon.

That are Alpinstar Sp1 leather gloves buddy . And that store is dreams bike in pune camp they are the distributors for alpinestar in india .

Im planning to buy a saddle bag. I know there are lot of other tried and tested bags available in the market but what interests me about this thing is that it can be worn as a backpack by combining the bags. I feel it would be comfortable for carrying it around. So i just wanna check if someone has tried it or seen in in person. Anybody?

Half the stuff Chopra sells are fakes or 1st and 2nd copies of original products. I was shocked when he quoted 3k for a pair of Alpinestars SP2 gloves. Upon enquiring further, he admitted that those were 1st copies. But damn! No one can tell the difference. So I bought them for 2600 😁😇

He sure offers a wide range of helmets in all price ranges, but then again, offers no warranty on anything he sells. And try visiting him with a complaint. He would refuse to recognise you.

What an amazing day for me .. had planned to buy Alpinstar andies dry jacket today so went to the store in morning and was checking out the jacket and a friend called up he owns a harley fatboy asking me where r u ?? I told him buying alpinestar jacket he told me wait there is flat 50% off on harleys clothing today go and chk out there . Went there and checked out 2 riding jackets . 1 all weather jacket with thermal lining inside fully waterproof with shoulders and elbow protector and other was leather jacket with shoulders and elbow protectors (removable)
My heart stuck on this leather jacket and inquired about the both . Leather jackets cant be worn in rain (drawback) but looks rich very rich . Price - 42800 - 50% = 21400.
Riding jacket all weather best quality. Price - 38500-50% = 19250.
Not much price diffrence .
But the fit and finish of leather was so class apart that i bought the leather one than too was in a dialemma so ask HD people that can i exchange in weeks time if i dont like aand to my surprise thay told YES . After coming home showed to my wife and she too liked it a lot but than she told me what ll u do in rain . Now i am confused . Can you guys help me what should i do ? Does anyone has leather riding gear .

So if i was you i would now buy a proper rain jacket and wear it over the leather jacket. But soon you will realize you had to invest in an other jacket, the reason being

All weather - Has Armours, Touring friendly, waterproof.
Leather - No armours no protection, you cant wear it under the hot sun/heavy rains, It could be used as a daily office commuting jacket or for a ride to party.

Leather jacket is a big no for the Indian weather.

Since its a personal choice but what ^^wrote about rain and hot weather is cent percent true. I hope you thought about these points while buying.
