Would you suggest buying from ebay.com?
    For example:
Alpi Monster Motorbike Motorcycle Leather Jacket Biker Leather Jacket | eBay
Brand New Riding Alpinestars Racing Motorbike Cowhide Leather Jacket Fresh Made | eBay
NEW RACING LEATHER JACKET MOTORBIKE LEATHER JACKET MOTORCYCLE LEATHER JACKET | eBay

They look very alluring but we can't be sure about the authenticity or the quality. I saw a few listings from seller located in Pakistan and Bangladesh so I was wondering about it. Could the online sellers be the ones who get it from the manufacturing place? Otherwise TBG or Solace or Zeus for jacket.

    Cheers and regards.

Dude just go to a store and buy after checking fit. Online store may seem cheap but it's your own safety we are talking about and you do not want compromise that. Think about ir

Nope, one can't surely know about the authenticity of the stuff on eBay.
Also, it's always advised to try riding gear before purchasing.
So it's better to go with Indian brands like TBG, Rynox, Solace etc.
They all have good armors and you have a point of contact for any issue that you might face.

Nice helmet you got there mate. How does it compare with the SOL SL 68S? Got it online or from a store?

          Cheers and regards.

Go for the Rynox Tornado Pro with Knox Armour, you would not regret it for sure.

Uncle picked it up from Thailand, well comparing to the 68s its a lot lighter and a more snug fit and it offers better wind resistance I feel.

Agreed on checking the sizing and fit before purchasing as it is probably the most important thing regarding riding gear. Also having a point of contact is vital, in case of any after sale service.

                Cheers and regards.

What about visor fogging if any? Is the visor optically corrected like the ones on Sol? Also is the fit comfortable to put on the helmet while wearing sunglasses or spectacles or you have to put them on later?

                  Cheers and regards.

I have been off the biking scenario for a while now.

I need help on the list of stores that stock and sell riding gears in Chennai (apart from SPG)? SPG will be my first choice, but would like to know if there are other players (just in case the available stock/size doesnt suit me). I am looking for a jacket, gloves, and boots.

                        2) Biking Brotherhood- Korattur- Outlet for the brand "BBG", has decent jackets and boots
                        3) V11- Valasaravakkam- nice array of helmets and jackets on display, I havent seen them having gloves / pants / boots.
                        4) MotoGear - T.nagar- great place for everything except boots, they dont have stocks of boots most of the time
                        5) Trek n Ride - Perungudi- Specialises in Hiking and Riding stuff, excellent place to buy rain covers, waterproof shoes etc ( similar to decathlon's forclaz 500), also a decent collection of jackets and helmets to go.!

Guys can anyone give any leads on buying riding gear and helmets from Singapore? Found some searching online but personal experiences would help to narrow down stores. Also how is the cost perspective is it comparatively cheaper compared to India?

                              Hi Deepak 3565,

From my personal experience Singapore is not necessarily cheaper, but the quality of gear is much better. Also you will find brands that you would not necessarily get in India. Hodaka - Motoworld is where I picked up gear this time around.
