In fact if it was made in Germany, their products would have it mentioned much proudly. Frankly, they are made in Pakistan like most others out there.

Germany hardly manufactures stuff like these. Even the biggest brands in the world like Dainese/Alpinestar/Revit are made in Vietnam, China, Pakistan, Bangladesh, etc.

Both of them are good helmets for the given budget if you can push your budget a bit more go for the HJC ones (HJC is much reputed than these brand and much older).
Between SOL and MT, wear them and check the size, comfort, weight (that's if you can really feel the difference in weight after wearing them) and of course the graphics.

Is there any all season gloves available.
Frankly, you will not have an all season glove
Reason: All leather gloves cannot be used in rain (as the leather may get hard and also water will seep in making your hands wet). If you go for a waterproof glove, it's gonna get really sweaty inside during summer as there will be no ventilation.

I recommend you to go for a complete leather with air-vents/ Leather+Mesh type of gloves (which can be used in most of the climatic conditions prevailing in India throughout the year, except rain)

Jacket:Rynox Tornado Pro (Look No further) (7.5k)
Gloves: Aspida, Rynox, TBG any of these whatever fits you better, as these are some reputed brands. But try them on before going for one. (2-3k)
    Knee Gaurd: Aspida, Mototech (3.5k)

    Hope this helps.

When I bought my SOL SF5 Alpha I was told there was different shells for S and M, L and XL share the same shell with different padding.

I would suggest going with HJC or MT over SOL as the d ring on my helmet is rusting after only 6 months of usage. Also it has no padding on the top so after an hour of riding it will start to dig into your head from the top and give you a really bad headache; even sooner if the road is bumpy.

Yeh I took it with a grain of salt when he told me that. Think it would have costed a lot more if it was made in Germany and then imported.

You mean to say small and medium has same shell just a different padding right ?

No, different shell for small and medium, same shell with different padding for large and x-large. That's the case with the SF5 Alpha atleast.

Would it be cheaper purchasing riding gear and helmet from revzilla instead of here(online stores)?

My query is mainly regarding helmets (Bell and HJC primarily) including the shipping and customs.

                Cheers and regards,
                Safe riding!

How good is the Qualifier when compared against the ECE and 5 star SHARP rated MT Matrix which also comes with 2 years of warranty?

Including customs, nope. The price range offered on these helmets is pretty decent.
If you get it shipped through private couriers they'll charge you duty upfront which is 28.5%.
In case you order through USPS, then it's on your luck. It might come through duty free or you'll have to pay 41% duty.
It's better to get it carried from US if someone is coming from there.

Also, shipping from the US you can't return the product if there's something wrong with it. So a better option is to buy from India. You get support from the stores and you get to try the helmet which is of topmost importance.

P.S - You can try out the helmet sizes in the stores to get your exact size and then get it carried through someone from abroad. That's what I did for my helmet.

Bell qualifier dlx is rated 3/5 by sharp. It is ece certified as well as dot. The vortex on the other hand comes Snell certified.

I think bell gives a 5 year warranty.

                      Cheers and regards,

On what grounds does the duty depend given I order through USPS?

Can ebay be a better option if the seller is genuine?

India post charges duty at 41% irrespective of items but you can end up more as it is totally in the hands of custom officials.
Ordering from eBay also you'll have to pay duty.
Best bet is to order through FedEx , DHL, etc. as they charge duty upfront and you don't have to deal with customs.
