You can find it in any stationary shop or big stores like Staples, crossword, odyssey.
I have used it on my R15. Results are satisfactory.

scotch tape is cello tape in india terms, u could have tried google image search

you would rather use brown tape or packing tape.

Scotch tape <> cello tape. It is a different kind of tape, which comes off easily, without leaving a residue behind. 3M ones are costly, you can try local brands, they are significantly cheaper.

thanks guys fr your reply...all I was able to search is 3M scotch tapr..i ws getting confused...so in India, it is cello tape(tranparent ones) , I guess....
I hope they won't harm the tank

I don't think its cello tape. Cello tape is transparent and has thicknness in mocrons, while scrotch tape may not be transparent and its thickness is in the range of 2-3mm.

Cello tape and scotch tape are different. One easy way to distinguish is by looking at the finish. Cellotape has a glossy finish while scotch tape has a matte finish(atleast the 3M ones). prafultripathy and chetanpulsar use them and they never remove it from the tank.

Checked out these riding boots at a shop in Mumbai.. I really liked them..but when asked if they are good enough in rains.. The guy said no.. They wont last long if came in contact with water.. That's why backed off...

i saw similar ones here in bangalore.. at the yamaha show room.. only difference is that they were from alpinestar.. they were water resistant ones.. decent looking .. cost was quoted at 3500INR

Ohh good atleast the cost matched.. These were quoted 3.8k. Only thing surprised me was there wasn't any brand label on it. when asked bout the brand the shopkeeper told they are of Fox. Fit n Finish is good. Also aren't much heavy.

i tried them on as well.. real snug fit.. feels good.. solid .
