        • Hey guys...It's been long since I am planning to buy a proper riding jacket for me. I think the time has come. I am planning to get a jacket anytime before my next ride(coming 7-8days).

I visited the DSG/Cramster dealer - Smart Designs in Mumbai a few days ago. He has got a new range of DSG jackets called as Falcon. Nice jackets and well priced. Fits in my range.

I am seriously looking forward to that jacket - Falcon. Price : Rs.4500/-
          Image not available.

          Other options I have are..

          DSG Nero, Rs. 5250/-

DSG Spike, Rs. 5250/-..Damn..it was for Rs.4800/- few days ago..

But for above two jackets I'll have to stretch my budget by Rs.500/- A bit difficult..

Any other jackets in the Range below Rs.5000/-?

          • @Nio: Please post pics of the new Cramster knee guard once you get it. I have the older one&could not make out the difference clearly from the site. It looks sleeker now though.

@Jonak: Depends on what you are intending to use it for. I won't be using it on any long rides, only for small speed bursts. For longer rides I would always recommend an armored jacket.

                        • Cramster Boots

Finally got the pair of cramster boots from Adventure 18, New Delhi.

@ Sarvajit - Thanks a lot for the feedback, it helped a lot in making up my mind. After that only I went ahead and got the boots.

@ L.P. & Rohitmundra - Its because of you guys that I could get the boots on Sunday. Thanks boys.

I liked the fit and finish for the price they come for. Tested it for 250kms on Delhi Chandigarh highway. Its very comfortable from inside, the only problem is they dont have any airvents, so its becomes pretty hot wearing them and riding on a hot summer afternoon.

Grrrrrrrrrr just when I had decided on picking up the Nero this weekend, they come along and launch the Falcon. Does anyone know if it is waterproof ? Has anyone bought it ? Can someone post pictures & reviews please ? Cant find it on the DSG site.

No pics as yet.. The official website itself doesn't have the pics on it..

I asked for the waterproofness.. He said it's not waterproof but water resistant.

I am seriously thinking for Falcon or Spike.. Let's see...

Sounds nice! Did you get the short or long version&for how much? I ruled out the long one due to the heat factor.
