    Hi Akshay,

I have the cramster touring boots, the longer once. They are pretty good for rains and water doesnt seeps in due to its design. But I had put my feet in some streams couple of times and then yes water does seeps inside. Its pretty comfortable from inside but the only problem being that it cant be worn on hot days.

    • Tankbag reviews

I guess many tourers are using Cramster/Studds or other tankbags in xBhp. Can someone please provide a review/feedback?

      • I did check out the Cramster tank bag. Is spacious enough, pockets for different stuffs, has a good hold on the tank.... and is capable of putting good scratches The person at Cramster said nothing can be done for that, just be careful while taking it off the tank.

        • I tried putting in my AGV helmet inside a cramster tank bag and it fits in easily!! I have a Studds Mustang tankbag and it isnt great. well, you get what you pay for ......

The zipper for the map pocket was in tatters on the first day itself. The construction is alright, good magnets, and scratches up the tank just like any other tankbag would do. It doesnt come with a rain cover (i got 1 stitched) and its expandable to hold more stuff. It has thin shoulder straps for strapping behind like a backpack and cost me a measly 450 bucks. I have used it in a few long runs, and plenty of short rides. Serving me well.

            • +1 to Studds mustang. Best VFM. The expandability and the back straps are of great use, especially at given price

                        • Well, 10 day trip, not a 10-day biking tour . I went to my native place, stayed there for 10 days, roamed around a lot and then returned. Total kms were some 500-600km only. I mentioned 10 days to indicate the luggage of a couple fitted on a 110cc bike, thanks to the bags

custom made saddle bags mean I designed the bags and gave the design to a bagmaket to get them made.

                            • I am not sure if Studds Mustang is available any more. I dont see them anywhere and I believe they have stopped production. Cramsters are the only definite ones available. I have also see Scoyco somewhere, but cant seem to remember the exact shop.

                              Cheers!

I guess you are right Prajwal...I mailed to Studds and they said it has been discontinued. I was just hoping to get a stock maal from a store for short runs in and around the city.
