If you are wearing it inside the pants then it will definitely be slightly loose (as you said you are on the thinner side.).

solution: here's how you can shortened the elastic band. fold the elastic band and get it stitched to the desired length.any tailoring shop would do it for 5-10 bucks.

It can be worn inside your jacket and pants.the reflex knee doesnt have any straps at the top which makes it feel slightly awkward if you wear it above your pants because as soon as you lean and when your knees are flexed you get this feeling that your knees are all exposed .the portion that was supposed to cover your knees is actually hanging below.but you get used to it very soon.i wear it inside my pants at all times.it gives me more confidence and besides i like the knee guard tightly hugging my knee.

Precaution : if you are wearing it inside your pants pls pull up your pants a little at the thigh before saddling the bike, this will free the knees and you will have better movement around the knee.

there is nothing like A* in terms of quality. if you have the money go for it.

For your budget, I would recommend the Cramster MX3, since it is enhanced for daily use+daytrip (medium touring)

I'm using the Twist for touring&it is very comfy&tough. I went for it since I don't like full gauntlets. The semi gauntlet serves me well, doesn't get sweaty in summer&provides just enough cold protection too. Good palm padding.
The semi gauntlet covers the gap between the wrists&sleeve of the jacket, but has no protection there. If you are looking for full gauntlets with protection around the wrist, you would have to increase your budget to around Rs.2K.

An A* in 6k range sounds really tempting

don't know if you like it or not!
the KTM glove you sent a pic which is avaiable in chopra, karol bagh - not sure if it is the same has a rubbery plastic thingh to protect the outer base edge of the palm. i found this very uncomfortable while riding as it causes your outer side to be slightly lifted up and eventually my wrist started to hurt. ignore if they are some other model.
