    • Here are the pics:
Loaded on the bike in Full mode!

On the bike on the side stand! You can see the front pocket detached and used as a magnetic pouch with see thru cover for your phone etc!

I would not lie to you, the bag does need the bungee cords when in full mode, it had D clips on its borders to help you fasten the bag with the same.

Thanks for this thread.. Really saved me..

        Pics are shared..

Next aim is to pick up one pair glov..

Please use all possible safety measures while riding and remember others also riding on the same road...

        • @ Satyen - Nice effort. Can you post close up pics of the fasteners, want to see how the bag is held in place. Can you put up better pics of the bag that is at the back of your model (above the tail light), its partly visible in the second pic and clearly visible from the back in the third pic. Also, noob question, but will keeping that magnetic bag for the mobile on the tank make sense ? A couple of potholes / speed breakers and its off to the Nokia / SE / Samsung service centre to replace broken parts . Last question - are the siver parts that are visible on the third pic reflective ?

Keep your bike in good repair: motorcycle boots are not comfortable for walking.

How many of you guys would be intrested.

This would be quality stuff and would be surely priced below DSG\Cramster.
The designs would be custom made with proper motorcyling in mind (not saying that others dont do this) but just saying that designed with our desi bikes in mind.
For example a tail bag that I have custom designed is a perfect fit for the R15 and the RTR (my bikes ) and so on.
How many of you guys would be intrested?

              I would definately be interested.

heyy I thought this would be in partnership with AH.just yesterday I was suggesting same sortof idea to him.

partnering with him wouldn't be a bad deal too as you get financial backup as well as multi product exposure.

I for one like that guy's attitude & pitch.

The original ones were two elastic band with clips, both working under the seat or the fender and locking up.
My bag has two elastic bands and a grab rail lock as seen in the colt.
Having said that the fasteners are being changed now will make a new one for it as they dont do great when the bag is fully loaded. (And over a period of time, elastic looses its tension)
So planning to make small bungee ropes with locks for it!

The bag behind is a net which can be rolled up or allowed to hang. Its meant to carry bottles, wet clothes, shoes etc. Big enough to house a helmet too!

                  The reflectors do work!

The pouch works well and are super stable, I have been using it rather extensively, but because it has magnets it will attract dust and dust + magnet + tank can lead to scratches. The magnets in this case has been plonked under a soft cloth based material to minimize the scratches. (Tip: use scotch tape or cloth under the pouch)

I will for sure and I did speak to him, but the problem with him is that he is too nosey with the prices. So another bag maker wouldnt do harm

                    • guys i need some opinions on this. i am planning to buy a dsg nero jacket. my primary concern is protection. i am also thinking on the lines of buying the cramster torso armour and an ordinary leather jacket to wear over it. the torso armour provides solid back and chest protection(not possible with textile jacket) and the leather jacket will give better abrasion resistance than textile ones. what do you guys say.i have very limited financial resources so a false decision will be a blow.

body armour is definitely better than the jacket . body armour are mounted on lycra and hence the armour fit properly and these are less chances of armour slipping in case of a fall.with jackets the armour tend to slip if your arm is dragged on the ground.moreover you get a proper back protector with the body armour, jacket has just a foam padding which will not be of any help in case of a moderate -high speed falls.

regarding leather jacket, i would like to add that yes they are any day better than cordura.

                        however points to ponder:
                        1) kerala is very humid and hot throughout the year and leather jacket would definitely make you sweat like hell. further its difficult to procure a good leather jacket in kerala and if you do you will end up burning a big hole in your pocket.even cordura is not suitable for kerala weather.

                        2) mesh jacket bundled witha good rain jacket is best for kerala (assuming you dont visit Munnar too often during the winter)

                        3) body armour offer the best protection ,however just imagine wearing the full armour over your clothing, and on top of that the leather jacket without any ventilation that too in the humidity of kerala.

hence my suggestion is to go for a body armour suit, and instead of the leather jacket get yourself a motorcross upper jersey,it costs less has better ventilation and better abrasion resistance than your normal clothing and will serve you well in the city.besides its easy to carry around as well.

with time save for a proper mesh ,or leather riding jacket and wear it over your armour for long rides.

BTW look for an armour jacket that has a detachable back protector so that if you ever want to buy a riding jacket you can use this protector instead of the normal form back protector. check the ebay account of the cramster, they were selling the body armour at a discount and also check the ads section of xbhp, there was an ad for the fox body armour.
" if WRONG is a T-shirt ; then wearing it inside out doesn't make it RIGHT "
