    ........

My conclusion is, best suitable for riding during rains and will not recommend this model (JK-24) for people living in humid conditions.

These are my personal opinion and have expressed my experience about the jacket during my Horsley Hills ride.
A few photographs of the jacket will give a better picture of your review.

Are there any all weather gloves available? I don't want sweaty palms in summer. Tend to sweat slightly even in winter while wearing warm clothes for too long. However, it should also be warm enough in winters. Any suggestions? Max. budget 2k, no extending

            • After going on thorugh lots of search around and visiting some motorcycle accessories stores in london & huge search in eBay..I ended up in getting Rayven
              • Abrasion resistant black & flourescent yellow 600D.
              • Reissa waterproof & breathable membrane.
              • CE Approved protectors at elbows and shoulders.
              • High density foam back.
              • 1600D ballastic reinforced shoulders and elbows.
              • Zip-out thermal lining with phone pocket and zipped patch pocket.
              • Mesh inner lining with patch pocket.
              • Internal zipped security pocket.
              • Front airvents with waterproof zips.
              • Two lower front zipper pockets with stormflaps.
              • Side arm Dynatec reflective panels.
              • Upper arm zipped air vents.
              • Elbow armour securing straps.
              • Velcro fastening stromflap with rubber press studs.
              • Adjustable side waist bands.
              • Large side access zipped rear map pocket.
              • Rear air vent.
              • Connecting zip for trousers.
              • Zipped, adjustable wrist cuffs.
              • High soft cushioned collar.
I went for this specific jacket because of its Flourescent shade though there was Black & Grey combination and Black & White combination, which is really helpfull in identifying me by other drivers during night, rains and foggy climates as it reflect the light back to the source.

              Reasons for taking this jacket:
              1. Color & its use.
              2. Airvents.
              3. Enough pockets.
              4. Quality.

The guy at the store was very helpfull and enthusiatic in explaining about all the jackets and telling how the jackets are manufractures and sourced around.

The store was small but had many bikes made by Aprilla, Benelli, Hyosung and Suzuki. There was Hyosung bike which looked like GT 650R..I enquired him but he said that its GT125... It was not at all looking as a 125cc bike with huge tank. Picture attached.

OT:- Sorry about that.. I was lazy to go back and do it again.

What you can do is get a thermal inner glove for winter wear.. That would serve your purpose.. Cheers!

Jacket is Alpinestars Verona Air jacket.
                    costs about 7.5K
Its a mesh like jacket and is very well ventilated but not waterproof at all.
but it suites my requirements perfectly as i live in pune which is very hot and also i do not ride in the rains "dad doesnt let me" hence this choice.
                    Only problem is SIZE!!!

The jacket looks good. I got mine from Rjays (Size-S as my shirt size is "38-40") and had the same doubt as you as the order was done online and didn't get to try it.

If your still in doubt try- http://www.rjays.com.au/home/size-gu...de-jackets.pdf

                      • Guys I am planning to by riding gloves and after searching i found some on ebay and some on DSG

Moto Mesh Gloves Black - Rs850.00

eBay India: pempas P2 series riding gloves (item 130419860133 end time 10-Sep-2010 18:26:12 IST)

They look similar to me can any one who has used give insights

Can any one justify spending more for the gloves from DSG (I am not asking for a compromise in saftey) will they both provide similar saftey features is it worth spending more on the DSG or wahtever costly products on the market!

I have a Rjays Swift Mesh Jacket with an inner rain liner which protects me from rain pretty well. With the liner removed, its pretty breeze and perfect for summers though I still sweat a bit if the bike stops moving!!
