    ....
Was searching for gloves for my wife, saw those Scoyco but decided against it as I felt the protection against the palms side were not to my liking. Anyway they look cool and certainly very comfortable.

Btw, when I check Scoyco official website, I don't see any of the gloves there that are being sold here locally. Anybody?

After the battering they have taken on xbhp over their declining quality I wouldnt blame them They mustve thought - the same guys who tell others that they should not buy our products (all xbhpians not necessarily the kerala guys) are now coming and asking us for money. Why will we give money to people who dont let us make money in the first place ....

This is disgusting to hear!!! That's probably because of the other thread on http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/coffee-l...-cramster.html

So if Cramster gears are so bad why not show disinterest instead of name calling. I for one would like xBhp to exhibit more mature attitude.

Now what if Cramster did sponsor your party. Would you still be calling them 'Crapster'? I guess not. So does it mean their gears suddenly becomes better?

My reason for this post is for xBhp to maintain a higher standard unlike most internet forums where you find mostly unmoderated childish rants. There are many who rely on xBhp for reliable source of information.

I use only a tank bag and bionic knee guard from Cramster. The tank bag is good quality though they could improve on the design. The bionic knee guard quality is poor.

Now, My first glove was a DSG mesh, It started coming apart in one month. That does not make DSG a 'Dog Shit Gear' cause I have seen other DSG gloves that are good quality.

The bottom line. If you want to criticize certain product, please be specific. It'll help us all.

          Salute to your campaign!

          • ^^^ Guess Lijo's point was not to defame Cramster for not sponsoring, but to highlight the fact that Cramster is no longer interested in xbhp and its activities. Regarding the bad quality, we've a thread running along & I'd suggest let's stop the OT here...pls?

                • @kaynmantis - I just wanted to highlight Cramsters pathetic attitude. I dont have anything against Cramsters products or their quality. For that matter, in the thread aargee quoted, I'd even defended Cramster Twister gloves. And I'm least bothered about them not sponsoring our program.

I personally have 15k worth of Cramster gear. And so does many of my fellow riders from Tvm and Cochin. But thats all just because of xbhp.
If a products manufacturer do not understand criticism and make mends, i pity him.
I know that though the Cramster guy says he is disinterested in xbhp, he's always hooked on to xbhp. Let him read these posts and do something to gain customers instead of losing them!

                  Sorry for the OT.

                  • @lijok: Thanks for clearing it out. And I do believe criticism is healthy as long as they are constructive criticism. The term 'Crapster' especially when taken in context to the 'thread' may give the impression that Cramster product are crap.

Agreed, Cramster attitude is highly unimpressive, though they do so at their own peril to ignore xBhp. Anyway we both know they'll be reading these exchange . What say you, Cramster .

Me too sorry for OT guy.

Its not only important to gear up, its also important to wear good quality riding gear.

If you dont have the money, save up and buy quality riding gear. Its an investment and a worthy one.... one that'll save your skin !!!

Gear up for a crash and if you do crash (God forbid) you'll most probably escape with minor injuries.

P.S. Quality does come for a price. There is no such thing as a free lunch. So if you think a thin jacket or windcheater or a cheap glove will save you, think again.

** Again, no offence to anyone. Just driving the point home **

The trouble is finding genuine gear in the first place is an issue, people will buy fake gear, probably knowing it's fake, if it looks to good to be true then it probably is, not all companies manufacture in China, even if they do they certainly don't flood the Chinese market with these goods and even genuine goods in China can be quite pricey, we just pay over the odds, because of our lovely and uncorrupt government! All hit and miss buddy with regards to importing, if the value is below a certain amount ( I think 10k and marked as a gift) not too much problem, above that without an IEC, you can get 100%+ penalty fine, sux hey?
Too much BS and beaurocracy, but people still vote for the same BC's, some things may never change.
