  • Got my DSG nero jacket yesterday from DSG Delhi dealer Rajeev. Paid 5.5k for it and its total value for money. Small size fit me perfect. Overall fit and finish it top notch and you feel very safe inside the jacket. Currently i am using it with inner lining for winters and its providing good protection against cold.

Here are 2 pics of me with the Jacket. Shot with my phone in streetlight . Pics shot by our Dear L.P.

I also bought DSG Primal leather gloves 1 week ago. Will also post a review of it.

nero is on sale at planet dsg for 4950 .and add a 250 for shipping and it still is 300 cheaper. anyway congrats for the purchase.

quite contrary to your view i always felt the fit and finish, and overall quality of the material used in the likes of DSG and cramsters leaves a lot to be desired. they are low budget jackets. when i first brought the DSG i also had the same feeling but once i saw the likes of alpinestar and joerocket and even SS, the Indian jackets not only looks overpriced but badly made using low cost material.

the biggest reason for not going for these brands is that i can get brands like joerocket , alpinestar, first gear, SS, scorpion etc shipped to my place in India at a price less than the DSG's and Cramster.recently i bought the SS jacket for 4800 and my friend bought the joerocket atomic 2 jacket for 5400 all inclusive.

what i am trying to say here is that once you have used the jacket you would know that a single jacket is not enough so when the time for a change comes ,search the US sites for good deals on jacket and go for an upgrade with a better brand. i can assure you that after that , you will never again look back at DSG's and cramster.

my point is DSG's are not top notch, nor is Cramster not even the Scoyco though its better than DSG and cramster.

      • Yaay! I got new gloves.. @N_Aditya Thanks for the reviews + recommendations.. I like the DSG Revive already..

P.S.: I had Cramster Twister till yesterday.. Feel that DSG revive is much better made and is of better quality materials. Highly recommended over Cramster Twister. Though this opinion may be premature as I have used Revive only for 1 day / 100odd km and have been using my Cramster Twister for the last 10 months / 16k km.

Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

        • Do you get a clear view out of the helmet at night through the black lense??? I wear goggles while riding in my helmet and if it turns dark it becomes really difficult for me to see.... Is it the same problem with the helmet?
I would rather be riding my bike thinking of God, than sitting in the temple thinking of my bike.

          • @antz.bin: how is the feel of the glove??? I tried the Motomesh for a day and the inner threads started to hurt my finger tips....Is it because the size is small for my hand? I'm already using a large size should I go for an XL sized glove?I also have problem reaching for the horn and indicators...

Always use Helmets with clear visors.. helps when it gets dark. If it is too bright and sunny, use good UV protection + (if possible) Polarized sunglasses inside the clear visor helmet.

If it is hurting your fingertips.. it is probably the wrong(too small) size. The movement of your hand should not be restricted. It does take a bit of time for the glove to get used to the hand.. but that I guess should be a problem with the leather gloves.. not the DSG Motomesh.

                Thanks bro

All alpinestars i like started above 10k, it was out of budget.

Yup, its 300bux cheaper online. But offline i got a chance to wear the jackets and choose the right one for my size.

I find the quality very good for 5.5k. I was getting SS Hang em high for 5.5k. But dumped the idea as i am never able to get a perfect fit online .

Next time will be asking my gf to buy one JR for me when shez abroad.

For the time being i am happy with 3 Jackets. 1 Dainese D-Dry (for rainy days) , 1 Dainsese full leather jacket (for fun rides) and 1 DSG for daily use .
