Beware of Bread, don't say I didn't warn you!
More than 98 percent of convicted criminals are bread eaters !
Statistics show that more than 75 % of violent crimes are committed within 24 hours of eating bread !
Bread is known to be extremely addictive. Subjects deprived of bread and given only water, actually begged for bread after just two days !
Bread has been proven to kill. Scientists have now uncovered alarming evidence that 100% of the people who eat bread will eventually die !

The Road Company Dirtsack Saddlebag
Guys,
i ended up picking the road company dirtsack saddlebag for my FZ. sharing some pictures for you all.
So far the quality looks really good. Although with the amount of zippers i am sure this won't do good when the rain gods decide to give it a full throttle.A quote by a toilet, " use me well, keep me clean, i would never tell anybody whatever i have seen.." :P

The total capacity is 44 litres (22 litres each side). Although i haven't tested it yet. The stitches are really nice and so are the zippers in terms of quality and i am quite impressed with the 3M reflective material, doesn't look of shoddy quality.
Rain resistance is something i would be able to check only once the monsoon hits mumbai. But as far as my gut feeling goes, one will have to cover the bag with plastic and also wrap up the clothing inside in plastic if one chooses to tour during peak monsoon.
i was initally thinking of going for Cramster Colt (37 Litres) but after seeing numerous negative reviews of fellow xbhp members with their experience with cramster: http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/coffee-l...-cramster.html i decided to go against it.
i was wondering can we get rain covers for such saddle bags separately?? if yes can anyone direct me to one store for the same?
will provide you guys a full report once i do a test ride with full luggage.Last edited by shv18; 03-14-2011, 12:41 PM.A quote by a toilet, " use me well, keep me clean, i would never tell anybody whatever i have seen.." :P

My New Riding Boots
My SIDI Vertigo Rain Boots:
I ordered it on bikebandit.com, & got it shipped to my friend in US who brought it down.
The price worked out to USD 300 including the cost of boots, shipping within US, handling charges paid to UPS (Package Receiving Service: Pack & Ship Services - UPS Westminster - www.UPSinWestminster.com), & collecting costs.
I decided on the sizing on the basis of the sizing chart, & it is a perfect fit.
The quality & finish of the boots is fantastic (they are 'Made in Italy').
I'm enjoying every moment of riding with the boots.
My views on the YZF-R15 V2.0: http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/news/198...tml#post699240
The pleasure is when your rear wheel slides, and you bring it back; and when the front wheel lifts, you take your time bringing it back.

Congrats on the boots. Hopefully, it'll make you more regular on our rides.

Feels a bit wierd compared to "normal" boots but its comfortable and doesn't bite. Excellent fit and finish. Worth the price.Originally posted by Parth View PostHow do they fare while walking?ATGATT - Because hospital ceilings are boring !!!

Few question on riding boots...
- What's the edge on riding boots over a regular Woodlands or any other semi casual wear?
- Is it because it protects the ankles from getting broken or something?
- Does these riding boots also come with protectors?
- Are these advisable for everyday city commuting purpose or only for long rides?
PS - When answering the last question, pls answer barring off safety aspectSkill is what keeps you on a Motorcycle

1. More protection. With a woodlands you can still crack your shin bone or ankle or foot. On one of our rides last year, a bus grazed a rider and he fell. Even with thick leather boots he had a fracture on his foot. Took ages to heal even though it was just a hairline crack.Originally posted by aargee View PostFew question on riding boots...

2. Yes. Achilles heel protection, calf protection, shin protection, etc. etc. See the product description.
3. Yes. It is a riding boot with safety features.
4. You can use it for intra city commutes too. Some boots are very stiff while others are not. Depends on the one who is wearing them and his level of comfort.ATGATT - Because hospital ceilings are boring !!!

Thanks very much Adi. That clears all the questions. But tell me, even the riding pants I find it little cumbersome for everyday ride to office, do we really need a riding boots or is there one for everyday use? Reason being that, using a riding boot everyday will force me to carry along the formal footwear instead of wearing it & riding.Skill is what keeps you on a Motorcycle
