Universal : Riding Gear Thread

Want a good helmet with nice graphics. I personally like the NUVO Union : Italy as it has Italian flavoured colors. But its too pricy for my liking as my budget is only 3K. Can i get a helmets with no graphics good at safety and graphics done from outside? Or are there any brands that could lure me with the price tag in the range of 3k. Initially i was thinking to go for the motocross helmets but after some discussions with XBHPians decided to go for a street helmet. Please help me in buying the right one. Thanks!!

And if the gloves are well ventilated does it mean that they will be rendered useless in colder climates ?

DSG Acqua. Those are completely waterproof and thermally insulated with inner Thinsulate for winter riding.

Avoid ventilated gloves for use in rains and colder climates.

Dont go for it! i got probiker gloves for 450Rs and Fox elbow & knee pads for 450 Rs. These are highly priced!
My Gloves is almost 5000kms old and still in good condition!

Thanks ! but i am looking for something that would be ok for hot weather as well. Isnt there a glove with some removable lining or something of that sort ?

I just cant afford two gloves at the moment for different temperatures.

Are these as protective as they say are? Anyone in Chennai knowing a place where I can get good gear which is not overpriced. (I don't mind shelling a little extra but I don't want to be ripped off)
