the items i have selected come with 15 day money back guarentee or free exchange if there is any problem. also the return courier charges are paid by seller and not us if we choose to return.Originally posted by aargee View Post@Prince - What if you get the ones from US for lower price than BM's & you've issues with the size? also there is a seller rating and reviews to help us select a reputed seller.
there are detailed sizing guides and reviews on popular sites like motorcycle superstore, these reviews are fairly suffecient to find the right size.
but i have enquired for items which generally don't have issues with sizing...like knee guards, riding underwear shorts etc...

Hmmm...sounds interesting. Who're those dealers who would accept their goods at their expense after 15 days. It will be quite good to know them.Skill is what keeps you on a Motorcycle

Dude!...what did you order? and how much did ICC quote?Originally posted by princesirohi View Posti have placed an order with ICC couriers mumbai, waiting for there quotation. lets see how much cheaper it will be instead of directly ordering from other websites.
I was trying for a jacket, gloves but thier quote was exactly the same as price of the stuff. so dropped the plan..

ICC quotes arnd $20-$40 extra for most of the items.. I guess its better to order from sites which charge flat $25 for the shipping.. Thats my personal opinion!Originally posted by princesirohi View Postsorry, return courier charges will be paid by buyer not seller. error...sorry.

i almost bought the cortech GX2 sports (textile) jacket, but then in Bangalore weather i will become a toast due to the heat
now back to square one....either rjays octane (claimed to be 100% waterproof)..or planet dsg nero (not sure on the waterproof reliability
)...
any suggestions ?????? PLSSS!!!
...rains have already started...need to get something at the earliest....

Just my 2 cents......
Bangalore weather being what it is, you should ideally have two jackets - one for extreme cold and the other for the hot summer. The 'winter' jacket could be a full Cordura textile jacket which will keep you warm and if taped at the seams will also keep you dry. For summer, I would recommend a mesh jacket.
If you can have only one jacket - I would go for a mesh like the Octane which has a rain liner inside. However my experience with Indian roads in the rain says that your jacket is going to get covered with all the muck that gets splashed on to you. After a day or two, the jacket will be unusable without a wash and in rainy weather becomes impossible to dry! I would instead use a rain poncho or over-jacket to protect my riding gear from getting too messed up.
A mesh jacket with the liner removed will serve well during hot dry summers and with the liner in provide adequate protection from the cold winds of winter. It will also serve you with some protection during rains if you don't mind getting it dirty.
Hope this helps.

bang on target, exactly what i was going to suggest and m also going to do the same......purchase a mesh jacket for summer and use a raincoat over it for rainy season.
