I've seen this and liked it too. Any idea how much it costs?

all i want to say in my own opinion is that its not logical for ME..to wear my 6000bucks jacket,3000bucks gloves,2000 bucks knee pads,5000bucks helmet and 7000bucks shoes for 5 to 10kms bumper to bumper traffic, where the max speed i can go keeping my feet on the pedals is 40kmph , bearing the heat and sweat..looking dumb and stupid and mugged up to my meetings...

if incase i have an accident in the above mentioned scenario,my other leather jacket, leather gloves, knee pads, and helmet would suffice...and can be replaced without a dent in the pocket.its not about the cost factor but flexibility and comfort for such a monotonous and irritating yet unavoidable means of commuting to and fro from office

and yes,i agree with you whole heartedly about the full face helmet.i have to buy one for the city soon
Buy a 850/- gloves (DSG Moto Mesh) and 4.5k jacket (Cramster Breezer 3.0) and chuck those Knee guards for those city rides. (Apart from a Full-Face helmet, Buy a Flip-top if you feel too hot) You wont feel hot and will still have requisite motorcycling gear on.

I bought these for 5500/- from Performance Racing. You can check sizing here - Motorcycle Superstore 2010

I ordered them in size L and were delivered as usual within 24 hours from order.

Initially I found them to be tight, and was afraid that I had ordered the wrong size but within a few minutes, they eased out and by the end of the first day I found them very comfy.
Same pinch. I have the same gloves and the same opinion

                          • Joe Rocket Reactor 2.0 Jacket - A review

My observations on the Joe Rocket Reactor 2.0 jacket.

I got this from Performance Racing in Mumbai for 11,500 bucks + 500 shipping to Chennai.

Since I already own Joe Rocket boots and gloves , this purchase was pretty much a no-brainer. I like this brand for it's quality, attention to detail, style quotient and also the fact that they are more attuned to everyday street gear than other brands.( At least that's what I feel )

                            The +'s

                            - As with all other JR products, a very high quality and very well made product.
                            - Very stylish perforated leather and mesh combination. Leather in the impact areas and mesh elsewhere. The leather accents give the jacket a chic and contemporary feel.
                            - By far the coolest jacket I have ever worn (coolest as in most comfortable in warm weather ). To my surprise, even the areas covered with perforated leather have great ventilation.
                            - The armors are the best that I have ever seen. Real quality stuff.
                            - The jacket comes with a water proof liner which can be used as a separate garment. Got caught in a sudden shower and kept me completely dry.
                            - Fit was perfect and as promised in the sizing chart without the liner. With the liner, would recommend a size larger.

                            The -'s

                            - The mesh though very stylish and obviously high quality has a 'delicateness' to it. I'm sure the garment will protect the rider during a crash but am uncertain about its own survivability in the event of a long slide on the road.

That said, I was the unfortunate victim of a low-side a few days after getting this jacket and though my upper body did not really skate on the road, the elbows and shoulders did take a hit and a nasty roll on the road. The jacket performed as promised and I walked away without a scratch - the armored elbows and shoulders did their job perfectly and I did not feel anything. The leather in these parts too took the scraping without any major signs of damage.

After THAT experience I would definitely recommend a buy.

Please let me know what you think after you've seen it. I'm interested too - probably need a size L or XL for my coconut!

I'd especially like to know if the liners, especially the cheek-pads are removable for washing. I always use a skull cap/beanie/balaclava as a helmet liner, but the cheek-pads still need to get washed.
