Well, actually the games he recommended have good single player campaigns, but all of them are quite short, with the major focus being towards multiplayer. But it is good fun while it lasts, so why not?

just completed cod4 and its awesome..
now hooked on to multiplayer though there arent many Indian servers...
anyways can you guys recommend me any other such game which has awesome story in single player mode...

which is the best card that a 450watt smps can support well?

A card that does not require a 6-pin power connector is what u need...maybe an ATI 5670 or something...anyway come to dhaba tomorrow and we'll talk about this.

The card has 256 mb of onboard RAM. It can also share the system RAM in order to increase performance. But in most situations this does not give any substantial benefit.

Your board has PCI-e, so get a good modern card. Forget the ancient 8400.

turbocache technology allocates system ram for graphic card use . that card is of 256 mb and upto 512 mb with turbocache . a graphic card with onboard 512 mb will be much faster than a one which is 512 mb with turbocache if other specs remaining same . dont expect to play recent games well with this card .

I used to have an xfx nvidia 7300 gs 512 mb gfx card which got damaged due to inadequate smps. That quantum smps was so bad that it couldn't even support the system without the external gfx card. I've now changed the smps to HIPRO 440/450 watt.

I'm using an intel 82945 express chipset along with 2 hard disks and an LG dvd writer. Which is the best gfx card can I go for without having to worry about smps not giving enough power ?


Also, I more thing, I was surfing the net looking for my options for gfx cards and I saw this :
