they were all 'privately owned LAN's' and sify broadband helped connect through internet pc's on different LAN's in different hostels

@chilled fire : Can you find any deal for xbox similar to your in mumbai ? I believe the one you got (additional controler and hdd for 15k) was at planet M .

all of them. but found asian dynasties pretty interesting. esp Indian territory battles with rajputs, hawaldars, etc. people saying 'haan mein aa raha hoon', 'karoonga', etc... funny man.

but still, AoE III expansion pack is a never ending/never boring gameplay. there are so many stories and civilizations that you can always opt to play a different scenario anytime.
similar is the case with NFS. NFS porsche was so good a game to play with 'factory driver' being my favorite. the new ones dont have the same punch i feel...

errr... i have a problem with COD World at War btw. its that 'i cant move forward' ! i find it pretty hard to move the person to all directions but esp when i hit the up arrow, he simply doesnt move or moves an inch and stops. and then i gotto tilt my head and hit run and then the ****** moves. damn ! i find it seriously annoying.
anybody got any clue/faced the same problem?

PS: 'i' referes to the character! but ofcourse...

Downloading all those games will take me atleast 3 weeks of nonstop bandwidth usage. I'd rather play all now for 500 bux. I have a 512 kbps connection but the seeding of games are very poor in most sites. You will never get optimum download speed.

and also, u know sometimes...if i find a game that is really good, I actually go and buy the original title. I'll pay 700~800 bux or close to that for a game I already played a pirated version of. People call that crazy but thats what I do...

Both are great titles, bro, in their own respect. But I liked the RB6:Vegas 2 because of its unique style of team commands and strategy involved. You cannot just barge into rooms, you have place your unit accordingly to the situation and BTW, do play in the hardest setting, the AI is bad$$!! They don't just flank you, but they do headshots!

EDIT: Oh , you bought them after playing. Sorry, I didn't get it the first time. Yes, I did the same thing for them and GTA-IV .

Do you mean that the character moves slow? Or the game lags?
You using a controller or something? Does this happen all the time?

And I'm getting F88kd (read almost piss'n'my pants) Playing with headphones seems to much better (scarier ). Because your ears are muffled from other environmental noise.

got my hands on MIRRORS EDGE.

and really they have changed the genre for the FPS.actually there should not be S in most situations considering this game though you have some shooting moments.

but the way cameras have been positioned,animated and projected IN REAL GAME,the CINEMATIC gameplay makes this game a definite play.ill say you must play this once.

music is another part of the game.beautifully crafted music,action time is awesome.

heavy rating for this game from my side.

though there is some bug related to the third level.game freezes..things are going on..

but make sure u play this game.

hey everybody

This is my first post in this thread I always dreamt about ps3 12 months before it was supposed to launch in Japan I used to eat drink and sleep thinking about laying my hands on ps3. And ya i bought it from the grey market months before it officially came here..maybe more than a year before..but am still stuck with oblivion as i cant devote enough time to to it...on weekends i have my biking, trekking, or have to take my family out so dun get enough time...but still whenever i sit i play if for minimum 4 hours and more....

I am more into rpg and strategy games...which title do you think i should by now....last i knew assasins creed had nice graphics..though dunno how the game was overall.

Now since i am giving more time to my R6 i am out of the league in the gaming arena...so guyz..ne suggestions which game to buy now ???

Im not much fascinated with FPS....wud prefer RPG's...ne good suggestions

and do update ur graphics drivers to latest before playing this.

and since u are a train fan..auran trainz simulator 2009 is also out.not a heavy change in gameplay but graphics have improved to some extent.

Why is this thread so silent? Has everyone given up PC gaming or something. I for one completed CoD 5. Enjoyed it to the max. CoD series sure has a novel way of providing cinematic ending to their games. Now playing NFS Undercover. I don't like the game's environment, car modelling or physcs as such, but playing it just for the sake of Maggie Q. Side by side also playing Halo 2 and Brothers in Arms - Hells Highway. Eagerly awaiting FEAR 2. Any updates from our other in-house gamers??
