nope i have tried out every possible method and today i bought a 500GB SEAGATE SATA for me for 2600rs, and just transffered all the data onto it and installed all only windows(as i donot have backups of old softwares.).

500GB for just 2600,thts pretty cheap...prices are touching the grounds

i bought 250GB for something around 4500-5000,at that time(4 years ago) i was the first person to have 250gigs in my city

for that price i think i can get 1TB seagate now

but first graphic card,i really need that,every game requires min of 256MB damn!

ya 1TB for 4500rs is easy these days..
4 years ago i didnot even imagined of a 250Gb HDD,maximum i could was 80GB only

Hey Naughty Vaish , could you elaborate on the external hard disk part ?

From what I have understood so far, I have to get my dvd drive replaced cause there is no other way for me to install the new OS. If there is and my technically challenged brain hasnt understood it, could someone please explain ?

You can install OS through bootable USB drive (pen drive) ...

I just went back to the 1990's, my HDD died out on me completely yesterday, the annoyance of having a Seagate, luckily i had everything backed up predicting this. Yes, its the 7200.12 that people warned me to stay away from. It was hardly a month old, till then i'm stuck with my Father's ancient terminal for nearly two weeks or more till i get a replacement HDD.

it was 7200.11 which had firmware problems , 7200.12 is stable drive so far... me using same (1TB) ...

Hi guys. I bought a Webcam (SVB Firefly 0019) but haven't got the CD with it. The setup which is there on their website is of no use. Do anyone have the installation files??

@Abhichotu-i installed that software but it is not detecting the webcam. Even the operating system is not able to install the driver.

Guys, which of the two is better? Iam buying a laptop. My purchase depends on which among the two graphics card's is better.

1. 512MB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4570
2. 256MB NVIDIA GeForce 9500M-GE

have you checked which all OS dose your cam support and i guess there may be some problem with driver CD that you got with the web cam ..better get back to the shop and ask hem for a replace ..that will be good mate

which OS ur using? if ur using vista,then u have to manually make it detect.
normally un-signed drivers are not supported in vista.

for this u have to open hardware manager ,choose the device ,then click update driver

4570 is better , but make sure its DDR3 one ...

but better go for the one with HD 4670 atleast as of now if ur a gaming enthusiast ...
