Uh got a problem here, does Dirt 2 need to be signed in via GFW Live online to be able to enable autosave and access your gamer profile? How can i play this thing offline? I had to create an account but am still not able to get the autosave enabled because i don't have the product key of the game (for obvious reasons) since GFW Live asks for the key after signing in, so everytime i'm starting all over from the first again.

what you can do is disconnect from net.and i mean pull the lan cable from the router.its best.next during intro press home to access the live menu..and say create new offline account.this will create the offline account and will be applicable to every live game.

Checked it..
8.5K Grands, affordability at its best!
Decided on 4870.

Btw..installed and unistalled Fuel on my Lappy yesterday.
Game was good but I dont like the all-terrains much!
Even on the lowest setting game wasnt smooth.. I guess Intel GPU is the culprit all the way.

Tanay, read my list, any guesses on Mobo?

Ok, an X4 means AM3 socket only.
Take a motherboard based on the 790GX chipset. Check for what is available, the Asus M4A78T-E or the Biostar TA-790GX A3+ or the MSI 790GX-G65. They are all in the 6-8K range.
Ask the dealers what mobos they have for Phenom II.

Use Transcend DDR3-1333, its good enough unless you overclock.

If you overclock get a CPU cooler. If not keep the stock cooler.

First Impression: The Saboteur

It's the perfect setting, Nazi occupied France a-la Inglorious Basterds style. A British bad mouthed racer turns vigilante and goes solo against the Gestapo in Paris. The concept is svelte, sexy and mature with a good helping of bad mouthing and lots of half naked women gyrating in the burlesque clubs that Paris is famous for. There are nice touches along the way like the screen is all black and white except for a few colors and turns full color when you complete a mission and liberate the area from the Nazi's. So a pretty good game right? Wrong! The game is so crappily made that renders it absolutely unstable, ATi gamers like me have an issue with the freezing menu problem, then there is the crash during transition load times like when you move in/out of a building, and oh this game has problem running on multi-core processors and can run stable only with one active core affinity. So here i am waiting for the proper patch to be released by EA, because the beta patch doesn't seem to solve the issue.

Thanks man, i'm still in awe with the rendering that i haven't had any time with actual gameplay, this has crashes as spectacular as Burnout

Oh, so it's not just my comp eh? Saboteur just wouldn't run on my rig and I even updated the drivers but to no avail. Guess I too will have to wait for that patch. Was wondering how it worked fine on my friend's laptop, but not on mine? Keep us informed if any patch is released

This may or may not solve the problem but it's worth giving a shot, when running the game

1. Press Ctrl+Atl+Del and enter task manager, If you're still in the game screen press Alt+Tab
2. Under Processes tab, find "Saboteur.exe"
3. Right-click and select "Set affinity..."
4. Deselect CPU 2 and 3
